Just played eve, with the new patch. MY GOD what have you done
My rails are now completely useless i have to get within 5000m of anything to do anywhere near a decent amount of damage, the damage modifier has gone waayy down. I cant believe it my ship is utter crap. Two pirate frigates just took me to 50 shield, i thought ive just had some **** luck with damage etc. I look at my specs in utter amazement at what youve done ! And i try and reload as ive used 40 charges YES 40 ANTIMATTER CHARGES TO KILL TWO PIRATES....AND I CANT RELOAD !?!?!
i'm completely speechless and ive been playing it for 3 minutes!!!
what have you done to the game i love o so much :_(

The range mods are working now on ammunition. Try considering some other ammo types if you want to keep your distance. It's in the patch notes.

Yes, the days of AM charges in Railguns is now firmly over I think.
Mabey it's time to think tactics rather than brute force and ignorance :)

i WILL enjoy this patch =p.
FINALLY things get more tactically intresting...
Now EVE needs to work seriously on adding content and making the whole universe a little less boring by some space events and well have a peach of a game :D

It's the exact same things as what Zombie did, you may not attack in "safe-areas" (empire/within sentry range) without loosing your ship.

I hope people keep their 'my AM is breaked' posts all in one place, as I fear there will be very, very many of them, as people log on, and freak out.
Maybe have a link to the patch notes that is a big red/yellow flashing 1024x768 gif.
People never read them, it seems.

whats going on eve i had 3 425 duals scouts on my ship and they have gone you have replaced them with 650med guns why has this happend

What is the rang modifier and damage of thorium?
Btw im happy with the patch
its nice to see that you actually change ammo for different situations... And also its nice that i cant own 6 frigates w/o even worying about getting damaged...

For christ's sakes Billy READ the PATCH NOTES! Same goes for anyone else short tempered enough to come onto the forums screaming bloody murder before even TRYING to use alittle common sense.
