The trouble is, the sabre seems to be the only one that can be fit in a sensible way. Current sabre fit is this: [Sabre, solo] Damage Control II Nanofiber Internal Structure II Limited 1MN MicroWarpdrive I Faint Epsilon Warp Scrambler I Fleeting Propulsion Inhibitor I Medium Shield Extender II 200mm AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet Phased Plasma S 200mm AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet Phased Plasma S 200mm AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet Phased Plasma S 200mm AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet Phased Plasma S 200mm AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet Phased Plasma S 200mm AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet Phased Plasma S 200mm AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet Phased Plasma S Interdiction Sphere Launcher I, Warp Disrupt Probe Small Anti-Thermal Screen Reinforcer I Small Anti-EM Screen Reinforcer I I'm quite happy with this setup. It's quick enough to burn out and decloak people for scram/web, has good dps and a light but useful tank. It's also quite nimble. But I am trying to cut myself down to amarr only so I'd like to use the heretic instead. The trouble is, although the slot layout is good and so are the bonuses, I'm running into a brick wall in terms of PG/CPU. What I'd like to fit is this: [Heretic, test] Damage Control II Centii C-Type Adaptive Nano Plating 400mm Reinforced Steel Plates II Limited 1MN MicroWarpdrive I Faint Epsilon Warp Scrambler I Fleeting Propulsion Inhibitor I Rocket Launcher II, Caldari Navy Inferno Rocket Rocket Launcher II, Caldari Navy Inferno Rocket Rocket Launcher II, Caldari Navy Inferno Rocket Rocket Launcher II, Caldari Navy Inferno Rocket Rocket Launcher II, Caldari Navy Inferno Rocket Rocket Launcher II, Caldari Navy Inferno Rocket Small Unstable Power Fluctuator I Interdiction Sphere Launcher I, Warp Disrupt Probe Small Trimark Armor Pump I Small Trimark Armor Pump I The trouble is, this is way over on both CPU and PG. Even with an AB it's still over. If this fit, I think it would be a solid alternative to the sabre I currently use. It has less dps and speed, but greater tank and range. Seems like a fair trade but as said, this just doesn't fit. So any thoughts? BTW, planned use is solo or duo with skirmish links. I looked at an MSE fit as well but it ended up being nothing more than a bad sabre. The Troll is trolling.

Fairly pathetic that you have to drop to a couple of t1 launchers due to PG/CPU. I'm really not happy with that. I'll keep toying in eft to see if I can squeeze something out. CCP seroiusly needs to rework the dictors though, it's unbelievable that the sabre is so easy to fit when all the others trip over themselves with PG/CPU restrictions. The Troll is trolling.

You'll use missile instead of rockets, have no CPU issues, and be even better post winter expansion when changes are made to the small launchers. Just a thought that might save you some headaches. The heretic looks great but is one if the worst dictors to fit.

Sorry, but you want your heretic to be a sabre. In the current state there are 2 types of dictors: Sabres and the rest. You use sabres for solo and small gang, because they're effective at that and fun to fly. You use the rest for fleetwork because then your dps doesn't matter, only your ability to catch people with your bubbles and scram and the fact that non-sabre dictors are a lot cheaper then sabres makes them ideal for that role.
