Could be the most time spent, or the most sheer damage dealt to you. Please refrain from comments such as they are all easy, etc, if thats the case for you then you have no need to post or maybe you should try a different ship.
I've done a dozen or two missions some were noticably more difficult. I want to see what others have felt.
Kidnapping Silence the Informant Rogue Drone Harassment Serpentis Extravaganza Serpentis Surprise
Are the ones that I can remember. Kidnapping was probabaly the easiest, Silence the informant took the most time (incl loot pickup).

Vengeance can cause you issues fairly rapidly if you don't pay attention.

The bonus level of Git Extravaganza....
Man that's fun.. 1- 2.75M Raven 2- 2.0 or 2.5M Ravens
2-4 MkIII Turrets 4-6 Intt tacklers and a butt load of 120k+ cruisers.
This is, IMO, the toughest i have yet to face.

Edited by: X''Alor on 09/03/2005 19:51:28 I wouldn't really call it "the" hardest but overall got my vote for best mission ever ....... it was very challenging.
Storyline Lvl 4: kill the double agent
The whole mission rocks right from the read in the description, the gasp of breath your agent takes after accepting. And then for me I had multiple spawns of minmatar navy faction ships after the initial spawn, I think 5 spawns. And then the little tid bit at end about the agent was not lieing and you just killed an innocent but yet he still gives the reward plus an amazingly hugh factions and corp standing increases.
Kudos guys, buy the team that did that one a big round of drinks and eats, they deserve it.
them minmatar navy ships were the hardest NPC's I've come accross and combined with the speed of the matari ships. Man was i a mouse moving button pushing missle chucking fowl mouthed mofo.
When all said and done, i won. I finished it but had no shield left on my raven, no cap left, using nos to get just enough cap to fire the shield booster "one more time" limped in flames back to station with no armor left and about 80% hull.
definitely a good fun mission and if more storylines were like that ........ people wouldn't complain about them one bit.
well mission runners wouldn't.
Edit: I don't know what ship the double agent was in. It was ultra wicked looking. Never seen a picture of anything like that before. When he spawned, he was right there next to me..... I said WHOA WTF IS THAT SHIP. (still locking) right click look at WHOA special ability what uber deadly who ..... man screw printscreen and checking himout I'm bout dead, melt him. I was in no position to sit and "play with him" to gather screenshots for you guys. Sorry
If anyone runs with khanid and gets this mission. Capture this ship. I'm sure there are many matari that would love to know about and desire this special agent cruiser ship. it looked like a cross between a nightmare and a tempest but in cruiser size and has some kind of special ability or something.
If i ever get it again, I'll try and warp out to refit a ship scanner to find out what this thing has under the hood.

The longest Level 4 mission was "Pirate Slaughter". It wasn't that hard, just very long with 10 BM's. I had the "Assault" mission last Saturday which I had never had before and it was dificult because I wasn't aware of the spawns and I soon had several Raven Rats hitting me with torps. I survived, but it took some work. That mission plays out right in front of your station. I notice people coming to the station beating a hasty retreat..:)

I think I had something like the minnie one you had, only with caldari ships (using a gallente agent), it wasnt in deadspace so I got to a happy distance and let them all approach me. It was like a never ending stream of flashing red plus signs. The last spawn had 3 or 4 scorpions, which spawned right on top of me (oops). Once it was over I had to get up and take a walk.

Sounds about right but last spawn on mine was this wicked looking matari special agent ship and only the special agent ship. pretty sure it was named "Special Agent Ship" but not positive
when he spawns you get an "incoming transmition" .... he claims his innocence. bottom of ship description says something about "special ability" and under the "threat lvl" it said something to the affect: omgwtfpwnzor.
forget the actual word posted. All I know is a farted a pearl when i read that threat lvl and spastically repeatedly locked hoping to hurry it up so I wouldn't get to see some this "special ability" with 80% hull only. He popped with 2 volleys of torps and not sure if he even fired a shot.
I really want to know more about this ship though.
when docked and convo'd agent, agent replies with something like, "I downloaded the transmition from our double agent and after reviewing his transmition, he was indeed innocent and not this suspected double agent. Oh well I better contact his wife and family"
yeilded me an 11% faction standing increase and a 35% corp faction increase.
no it wasn't deadspace. i warped to and bookmarked and rewarped at a range of 100KM. Locked and shot. The first fleet had these nasty 6 navy stabbers, like 10 intercepters, and like 6 other cruisers.
Those navy stabbers were sick, I mean pnuemonia sick. They MWD up to me in half the time it took the intercepters from 90km away, seriously closed the gap at like 5km a second. They came in like spider drones and proceeded to pound the bag outta me at very close orbit range. Before i could dispatch 3 of then the entire rest of first spawn was orbiting and blasting and all were inside 15km from then on till mission completion. range really had no affect at all on this mission. 90km only baught me like 30 seconds buffer.
with all the big spawns it had to have atleast 45+ intercepters and frigs, probably 35+ cruiser, couple two three BS. It took me half hour 45 minutes just to loot it all and it was right around me.
I must say the minmatar navy is quite well outfitted by looking at the loot. Matari navy loot rocks
I would have died if i had any speed mod in at all .... as it was i capped myself dealing with the damage and the respawn where last ship dies made it quite difficult. Trying to use any speed mod on these guys would have hurried my cap issues and I still would have easily been caught by these guys.
I wanna get this mission again just so I can get some screenies and some ship scans. I can't fly matari ships but this one was sooooooooooo bad ass looking, I kept thinking to myself, man i don't wanna blow that up, I WANT IT. Awe man ........ bombs away.
Definitely one the coolest looking ships I've seen in eve ever and nobody can place it and I have not heard of any others having this mission with matari targets ..... possibly amarr agent runners?????
If i do get it again, I'm gonna try and high jack his ship and steal it. I'll redock and try every mod possible to lock, stop, and eject his ass without blasting the ship. It was that awesome looking.

Dang, I'll personally send 1 mill ISK ingame for any character that can post a screenshot and stats of this "special agent" ship in question. mine was matari design ...... I would think there are others for each race.

I just did this mission for the gallente navy. Final spawn was the secret agent in a caldari navy ferox. He proclaimed his innocence. Thing is, you dont have to kill him. He wont even lock you till you fire. You can go right back to your agetns station and give him the info the secret agent sends you when he warps in, and it completes the mission. Bit of a happy ending with the agent appologising and saying he'll go tell the mans family that hes alive and well.
Curios though.. when you killed him, did he drop nice loot? So i know what to do the next time i get it :P

Not sure what he dropped as I was completely surrounded by cans.
I didn't get any "navy named loot" but it did drop a bunch of cruiser sized meta stuff.
Got like 3 or 4 medium galliums a couple medium proto projectiles, just all kinds of basic named stuff. don't get me wrong I didn't make billions in sales but was a nice looting compared to most navy drops.
Begining to wonder if maybe he was in a matari HAC, not sure what he was in and unfamiliar with those designs. never seen one which struck me quite odd.
