I have done a few drone missions now since yesterday's downtime. The bugger has dropped no cans. Am I unlucky, or did he get it? BTW. I am not commenting on if the possible change is / would be good or bad. Just a simple question, if others have noticed him dropping no / not as many cans.

they usually drop a can, they rarely do not.

Couple of friends and I did a mission last night with two Supreme Drone Parasites in it. Result: two cans. Conclusion: you were unlucky.

Seems to be 'bout 1/8 or so don't drop cans (in the 16 I've killed in the last week, only 2 didn't drop). Somewhere in that range probably.

Thank you all, for your responses. It just seemed odd that several in row didn't drop cans, while my experience in general is the same with every one else - they drop a can almost all the time.

Well it would be utterly retarded if supreme drones dropped no mins at all. Those things are nasty buggers, I would rather fight 6 Guristas Ravens then 2 supreme drones.

those are easy as hell, just fit 2 kinetic and 2 thermic hardeners and they'll hit you for 25 dmg or so

yes they got the bat recently but not in the cargo.
early on they were tough bastids and repaired fast with a crap load of hard hitting guns.
in past 2 weeks, they've slowed the damage it does, slowed the armor repairing it does, decreased the damage they the guns do. overall made them cake walks compared to how they were. they used to be a real risk.
and they now melt in a hurry with one BS where it used to be a good hard battle for one BS to ***** it's hull. And it took two BS with focused fire to get the "we melted him" affect.
Now there a cake walk compared to what they started out as.
I love the drone missions myself. wish we had more.
Zrakor please make a multi stop 5 jump drone mission that has 3 parasites in each lvl minimum, one goes instant aggro at each warp in, and 5 in last where two go instant aggro at jump in in last stage and one new parasite. Lets call him the........
King Supreme Drone like the supreme but bigger nastier harder and definitely needs 2 BS to bring down if not 3. Make him chuck torps and make him respawn drones like it's making them inside and relaunching them to attack.
Now that would be a drone mission

Today in Rogue Drone Harrasment, the first level SDP dropped a can, but neither of the second level SDP's did.
And yes, they did get easier. I couldn't solo them in my HAC before.

Glad someone feels the same way about them drones as i do.
king Supreme Drone Parasite = to like a dread guarista commander or something. nothing fancy drop wise just more of the same.

But yes when they first came out, it was hell for a raven with skills to c r a c k them. you could do it but took a couple reloads usually and lots of repairing/boosting your shield and needed multiple therm hardners.
now they dead in half a load. And someone did one in a HAC ....... bows, man you got some brass ballz. Great go. anyone says no risk vs reward there should put up their HAC and try it.
Starting a petition for the Supreme Drone Extravaganza mission that culminates in a insane battle with the King Supreme Drone Parasite listed above.

The supreme drone has turned into a ***** , now u can tank both on rouge drone mission and they lay down pretty quickly, the only time they have not dropped with me is when a m8 joins in, every time i solo them they drop which is yummy
prefered the older tougher version tho , 2 of them were a real challenge and exciting

the lvl 5 version drone extravaganza would have king supremes inplace of all the regular supremes  and more regulars supremes than in the lvl 4 and twice as many everything else.
they could make the king drone an optional drone in the lvl 4 that way it wouldn't be an issue for those who don't want to make it one. BUT if you don't engaged you don't gotta bother but if you engage and even shoot so much as a rubber band at him you gotta kill him to complete the mission.
still a drone extravaganz mission with existing drones would be pretty neat regardless.

and they do drop a con, occasionaly they does not.

Nice, which HAC did u use... im guessing either a demios or sacrilage to tank that dmg or have enough to kill it.

Rouge drone harassment with 3 supremes (2 on first level) and a assortment of other drones drop about 2900 zyd and 500mega altogether in alloys. thats why i love them so

Yes they are "reprocessable" to minerals BUT not refinable. there is a difference.
there is a hugh difference.
being they are not a right click and refine kind of thing like minerals are.
I bet CCP has a neat plan for these "alloys" that is going to make us all down the road say, " awe christ CCP, you never mentioned they are a building component for tech 3 stuff."
My guess is they are like the release of tech two building components. Everyone recycled those for monthes due to the minerals they refined to but once tech two came along everyone was upset they did.
Safe to assume these alloys are along the same lines as tech two building components and probably need for production of something down the road in the "soon(tm)" department.
CCP and their Ebil antics may be at work here.
just some food for thought before recycling them.
