PLEASE make the corp management screen permanent upon jumping (i.e. stop it closing down completely every time you reload your environment). Having to reopen it EVERY time you use a jump gate is tedious in the extreme. Long jumps are perfect times to do corp management stuff but the window closing every time you enter a new system makes it almost impossible.

VR is correct you can keep the windows open, and it does slow down the loading of the next system (but not much on my pc about an extra 15 secs or so)

I think he means that it closes totally, not minimizes like other screens.
Had the same annoying problem when I was wrtiting a petition while travelling, it vanished every time when I jumped...

Ilia hit the nail on the head. If you have the corp screen open it will close completely when you jump. This used to be the case with a variety of other windows as well (petition box, wallet etc) but was fixed so they stayed open when you jumped or entered a space station.
The corp management window still closes down completely. Even worse, if you are waiting for a process to finish (for instance, loading up assets which can take up to a minute for a large corp) and the window closes due to a jump then the corp button will subesquently become locked and will not allow you to re-open the corp management window until after you restart the game.
Hope this makes it a bit clearer

I think the only window which should close is scanner...but then, since none of the screens ever update... theres no reason to close any of the windows.
Also i notice that chat window auto default to local... WHICH is annoying.
