Disgusted and saddened by the current state of war which prevails in EVE, especially in 0.0 where there are no poilce to stop people from murdering eachother, I have felt it is the right thing to do to start a "movement" in the name of peace!
Not only do I wish for people to be peaceful, but, to counter the trend of aggression and violence that prevails today, I am looking for the bravest of men and women to activly help promote peace by making public demonstrations!
Here is how it works: Buy a ship, and insure it ((or not, more later)) and then sit at a gate in a busy 0.0 system. Sit at the gate advertising for the School of Non-Violence. If someone locks onto you, politly ask him or her to not attack you. If they destroy yuor ship, ask them to please not destroy your pod. Let them know that you respect them and also inform them that now is the opportunity for them to gain HONOR (always write HONOR in caps) by showing mercy and not shooting.
If you do get podded buy a new clone ((or not, more later)) and buy another ship and do this again. Keep doing it in the same area, being very polite to all people you come in contact with. It is usually a good idea to have your ship fully equiped when you do this. Why? To show that you COULD have fired back but you chose not to. Peace = glory and HONOR. Peace is what intelligent and mature people pursue.
All humans are good. All people want to be respected and loved. No one can hate another human forever who has done nothing to them but shown respect, kindness and even admiration, despite persecution and affliction.
You can make a difference in EVE by helping to activly promote peace! Also, this is a great way to help others to gain HONOR by showing mercy! What I like to do is a keep a list of everyone who, instead of shooting me, passed by without harming me. they are the ones who this project really benefits. Please, join with me in helping pks and pirates gain HONOR. Show them respect, and be kind to them. Eventually they will realize that there is nothing to gain by killing you over and over.
I am not the leader of The School of Non-Violence (SSN), merely a student. I ask that all who are interested in peace join thius school. You do not have to leave your corp to join it. Simply write "Student of the School of Non-Violence" in your bio. To stay a member simply do not attack anyone for any reason. you may choose if you wish to follow this strictly, or if you wish to only attack if it is in DIRECT self defense of yourself or a close friend.
If everyone was a member of the SSN, no one would fight anyone ever, even in 0.0!!
So far I have chosen to hold my demostrations in EC-P8R, which is right by Torrinos. This is a perfect place because there is a cloning facility right in Torrinos, and it is a very busy area. I have lost several ships so far, willingly of course, including 2 Raven battleships, fully equiped, as well as 80 million isk worth of implants. I have also lost many other ships. At one point I ran out of isk and could no longer buy a clone each time I was podded, so I quit buying them but kept going into 0.0 in a bantam. I lost nearly 800,000 skill points from getting podded 3 times without a clone.
I hold NOTHING against the people who destroyed my ship and podded me so many times. I respect them greatly and I know that they are good people. In the end, peace won and many of the people who have negative standings twords my corp, and who my corp has neg standings to, chose to gain HONOR and not shoot me! Yes, thats right! People who are responsible for destroying my ship many times and podding me, causing me to lose much isk and skillpoints, quit shooting me! It was a great moment! PEACE prevailed for a beautiful 20 minutes before another person who was new to the scene podded me, causing me to lose more skill points. But that is OK! Progress was made. Here is a list of the people who gained HONOR by showing mercy and not destroying me. These are great people who I truely respect:

Remember, the greater the sacrifice you make, the more it shows your desire for peace to prevail. That is why I recommend the greatest, bravest, most dedicated people to not insure their ships before they do this. Also, buy implants and insert them, and use the most expensive ship you can afford. Of course, even people who can only afford to use bantams or Newplayer ships are respected and help others gain HONOR when they make public 0.0 space demonstrations. Even adding to your bio that you are a Student of the School of Non-Violence means a lot and will help make EVE a better place! Remember, our goal is to help pks and pirates gain HONOR by chosing not to attack us. Good luck.

lets just remove all weapons from the game, all npc`s, make all systems 1.0, better instagank concord for who ever xplouts a way to do dmg and every char gets a mining barge with strip miners

During my EVE history I have made a lot of isk and spent / lost a lot of isk. Ninja mining in EC-P8R was great, but those times are past. I am out of money now due to my recent peace promoting activities. I promose though you will soon receive 20M isk. Please, let my gift to you help inspire you to show mercy to others in the future.

Killing is essential to life. Without it, natural selection cannot take place. If the strongest can and do kill the weakest, later generations become stronger. Eventually we will come to a point where everybody is so strong they are immortal, and then and only then can we have true peace. Until that day, violence and killing are necessary. It is the very basis of life. To take it away is to stagnate and rot.
EDIT - Although ISK doesn't really mean anything at all. Neither does life in this game. It is played purely for entertainment purposes, a large (I would argue only) part of which is PvP.

Hehe funniest thing I've read all week! 
I find it hard to believe this is serious, but if it is, chill out man - it's only a game. People play Eve and games like it to escape from the stress of every day life. It may mean they engage in activities they would never consider doing in the real world, but that's all part of the fun.

A little about what I wish to help accomplish:
I want the lines between pk and peacelover to become less blurry. I want people to realize that just because the game allows them to shoot without penelty (0.0 space) they can chose not to, thus gaining HONOR and making eve a better place. I want npcers, miners, explorers, travelers and all types of peaceloving people to be able to enter all cornors of the galaxy in peace and saftey. I want everyone to know that they are respected and thought well of.
MooKids, if you will swear to be a spreader of peace and HONOR and to uphold the SSN statutes, I will do as you suggested and sit in 0.0 in a ship filed with zydrine and equiped with tech 2 modules. I trust you, as a good person, to, if you agree, hold to your good word. Do you agree, sir, to my proposal? Whether you agree or not, I respect you. I know you are a good person. How do I know this? Because all people are good. All people WANT to be good.
I ask all of you to please put the words "Student of the School of Non-Violence" in your bios, and then work on becomming the type of person who loves only peace and the building up of other people.
If you see people fighting, challenge them to mutually withdraw. Challenge your pk friends to, the next time they have someone in their cross hairs, to instead of pressing F1 - F4 to press the letters "Hello sir!" Give random people donaations of isk. Start your own peace oriented movement, help new players with their questions, just do ANYTHING to help others out.
I want to hear stories. I challenge vall who read this to log into EVE and just HELP A RANDOM PERSON OUT, or, better yet, HELP AN ENEMY. Then come here and write about it. I look forward to hearing of the great progress that has been made. Thank you.

To those who just cannot yet part with their guns: might I suggest at least only attacking people you know also share your great hunger for pvp? When is the last time you saw red on your radar and instead of attacking, sent a chat convo and asked the guy about his his day has been? You might learn that he is a lot like you and there is really no reason to be fighting. You and he might even share the same hopes and dreams, goals and ambitions. From this, mutual understanding will spring and your corp and his may become allies.
In the very least, try avoiding slaughtering people you know do not wish to participate in war. Just saying "All who enter 0.0 agree they want war!" is not a valid justification. Please, lets try to be considerate. There are many great things one can do in 0.0 other than killing.
I am sorry if this letter offended anyone. I used some harsh language. I wish only for the goodwill and welfare of everyone. Thank you.

I think what he's saying is shooting people is OK, just don't do it just because you can. If this were either in the real world, or the intergalactic forum, it'd be more appropriate. But when applied to the game for the games sake, it makes no sense. This is a PvP game. The only thing to do is PvP. All that time doing missions/mining/whatever? Just getting the ISK to go PvP. That's all there is to it.

Any progress brings HONOR to the one who made it. If you were an indescriminate pk who also enjoyed using market scams and stealing ore from new players in .8 security systems, and then you decided to quit scamming on the market, then you have gained HONOR.
If you just cant let go of your desire to pvp, then please, chose targets who you know enjoy pvp as well. It is not much, but it is a step that will bring HONOR to you.
What ever happened to anti-pk vs pk? Why cant all the good people who are addicted to war at least agree to rid the universe of the evil people who are addicted to war?
Please ujnderstand, I do not condone any fighting for any reason, but if what you say is true, at least try to gain HONOR by showing mercy to targets who you know do not wish to pvp.
Take a step in the right direction.
To help promote honor I have made an agreement with a new player I have spoken with at length. He has agreed to report to me if someone that could have killed him as he travels though low security zones does NOT kill him. If this happens, I will question the person that showed mercy and, if my heart tells me he is the right person for this, I will give him a Ferox battlecruiser and 2 Harpy assault frigates. They are the last of the ships I have in my hanger.
Will *you* be the one who shows mercy and gets rewarded for it?

You see i think that this goes back to content vrs balance again.
Why? Becuase someone just said that "There is nothing else but to PvP in this game."
To me that sounds like its a problem simply because its saying that one could blow up people simply because they can all night and all day. And then when im bored I get a couple of my buddies and make an "Empire of Evil" in a last ditch effort to make the game fun so you go kill more becuase you can.
After that your even more bored and you quit the game.
Ive seen this happen to many many many people whom i know through the game and its because they think its the only thing there.
So the moment a player wishes to add content upon his own accord that gives people an alternative to the grind, he is instantly jeered and shot down saying "Is this a Joke?" or "Are you insane?".
EVE needs more people like this that thinks around the box, no matter how infeesable it is. Why?
Becuase chances are...corps like that tend to outlast many PvP corps, simply because thier source of fun revoles around an idea and not OMG l00k at this l33t l3wt.
Eve is not just a PVP game. Open up your eyes and look at the work that has gone into the game asteticly wise and background wise. To many of you are thinking 1 dimensionally.
If it was going to be a pure PvP enviroment, why is there no quake style enviroments? Why is there not twitch factor?
Dont get me wrong, PVP is an important part of the game. Its just that so many of you are eating the crust and not the whole pie, and when someone says there is filling, you call them nuts.

Ly'sol, by the logic in his incredible idea, it would aldo mean that there would never be any piracy, since the victim almost never wants to be a victim.
Also in all my time in eve, I have never seen a single war that has been waged for a legitimate reason, its always lies and trickery by all sides involved. The only parties who even pretend to have a semblence of a reason to fight are the roleplayers but they form a very small minority of the player base.
Ok next time I shoot someone I'll just tell him I dont like the way he smells, that should make it all ok.
Ps. As ever you astound me with your ability to stalk me on teh forums, and yet never grasp the meaning of what I say. Next time I'll use pictures to explain it better.

In space, no-one can smell you. A small comfort for the poor victim floating in a pod waiting to SD, I'm sure.
And I like your logic, Dust-Puppy, although it's a little hard to justify when attacking an indy. They move so slow they warp space-time around them, causing a sort of anti-speed that negates all attempts to stay interested in the game. =/

Wolfgang, I'm pretty sure you are serious--- if you aren't than I applaud you for a spectacular satire. If you ARE, serious, I am equally impressed with your movement and your sacrifices. I think I can see where you are going with this.
I don't think Wolfgang expects outright peace, because it's obviously not possible (nor, do I think, would I want it to be). What's missing in the game, and what I would personally like to see, is more HONOR. Even in many alliances, pilots don't even have the courtousy to inform trespassers that they are entering alliance space before firing. Even then, the campers will even destroy the escape pod, even though they've conducted their duty by barring entrance into their space (the pilot would surely be fleeing for their life at this point).
When it comes to dastardly acts such as these, HONORless pilots should be labelled and reprimanded by others. No longer should sadism be able to excuse itself by blaming its actions on the code of the game!
Wolf, I will join your cause, but not to the extent that you are involved. I will be an "apprentice" of your school. I will not attack others, unless myself or my interests are threatened, and only after I have exhausted diplomacy. Nor will I, under any circumstances whatever, destroy someone's defenseless pod or strike down an industrial ship that is not carrying weapons of war. I will participate in NO activities that harm others for the sheer pleasure of my own.

However, I think I see where you are coming from. I can't say your goals are realistic, but perhaps they are idealistic.. to a point.
A great many people play this game for the kick of seeing other people "die" by their hand (ship?). Of these people, some are a good laugh about it; and generally pretty cool. And others are, well, not.
There is a society in the UK who are striving to get people to be more polite and have better manners. The cause, while good, I fear will always struggle against the inevitably increasing minority of people who in turn struggle to be polite.
From an RP perspective, your mission is both impressive and inspired. However, in my experience, you should talk to them in the language they understand; with guns, torpedoes, smartbombs and drones. I doubt you will and for that, I salute your choice.
So as I said, you need help.

I can't help but think that if you wanted to help pirates you'd use all that ISK to go blow their faces through their asses. That way they wouldn't be able to shoot anything. Everybody is happy!
