I came across a Courier mission with a destination that couldn't be reached. If I'd taken the mission would I have lost my collateral?

yes ud lose it, sounds like a scam, under these cir'ks a GM would prob re stuff ur wallet though :)

You probably had "avoid pod killing zones" selected in the autopilot settings. Only unreachable space should be Jove space.

My thoughts exactly. I assume the collateral would end up in the wallet of the person setting the mission? It should be possible to see the ID of pilots setting Escrow and Courier missions.

The setting for avoiding pod killing zones is in the Autopilot tab, below selection for the route (safe or short). Number of pilots is just a display preference in display settings.

Setting up escrows for stations which are unreachable is actually an epxloit and can lead to banning. Petition the GM immediately.

I'm tempted to publish the destination here, but the culprit (and his associates) would obviously be alerted and remove the mission. I'll petition the devs. Personally, I think Courier and Escrow missions should always show the pilot responsible for setting the mission.
