How you want to tax ore?
Someone is mining and some of his mined ice/asteroids magically disappear from his cargo hold and reappears into the corp hangar?

Probably not, since we can do this out in 0.0 through station refining. There is a way to tax ore in other areas of space but you have to put in effort. Mining Barge buff: CCP-áhas acknowledged that miners in general-áare too stupid to make the correct fitting choices to make ganking them unprofitable. |

yes in 0.0 if u own an station the corp that owns the station gets an % of ore when refined witch then leves out corp tax
eg player refines in a station in 0.0 the station owner gets ore from that player then the player get some ore back and the corp that player is in get 0% tax from the refining there for corp tax dont apply when refining ore in station |

I'd like to see the 11% NPC tax applied to mining and market sell orders/contracts. Actually, should be more like 25%. On top of that, implement a corp tax system that taxes player-corp miners when they refine in a station. Can make the tax go to the corp deliveries hangar, even if there's no office. This would force the grubby money-munchkins to either pay for NPC protection, pay for in-corp defenders (out of the dozens ****** high-sec corps I've infiltrated, the grand majority of the miners played only for their own sake, and constantly whined about the guys with pvp skills not doing enough to protect them despite contributing nothing), or run their own corporations. The whole tax system needs redone. Allow corporations to set different tax rates based off of different titles. Ore taxing can be done when refined, either at a NPC station or how it is now with player owned stations. |

So what happens when your greedy little ore monkey decides they have had enough of your taxing, compresses the minerals and then ships them to hisec for sale, bypassing your donut munching tax collector on the indock, entirely? The mechanic for taxing any and all corp members already exists it just takes a bit of work from your directors. True Rat taxes are automatically taken and Ore taxes have to be tracked and collected, but the mechanics are already in place.
CCP can't get POS's redone and you want them to make a magical ore collection tax fairy? Sounds like nothing but trouble. |

That's simply. Allow the corporation to tax market transactions as well. (USER WAS BANNED FOR THIS POST) |

Yes make this game even less interesting and more solo playing because it's what Eve is about, you, your wallet and your army of alts. Amirite?

You are proposing a system that would do nothing other than push players back into the NPC corps at record numbers and or the use of alts to move materials to get around corp tracking. The cool side effect of having to track mining is that it promotes team gameplay. There is a strange parasitic undertone to this thread... |

Also this.
Some players have this incredible will to implement easy to manipulate/exploit mechanics. If something should bring more taxes to corps wallets is trading because everyone knows how bad actual system is. Trading players never undocking or interacting with someone else have their wallets literally exploding of isk and pay almost nothing as NPC tax/fee.
If something these uber dudes should ask CCP is really to change trading skills and NPC taxes on trading/day trading etc. Instead of reducing NPC fees only those skills should reduce effectively the NPC amount, but the difference in between base one and NPC tax amount should go directly to corp wallet. brb |

Well, if they want to pay some ridiculous amount in taxes to the NPCs, they should be more than welcome to. Just because a corporation would be able to tax everything, doesn't mean that all corporations would. All I'm advocating is the implementation of tools to tax everything, not a requirement to do so.
Lin, the rebuttal for you is the same. If you're saying that giving corporations the ability to tax all transactions would push people into solo play, then you're discounting the possibility that not all corporations would tax everything. If you're right, then that highlights a much deeper underlying problem with EVE's player base, which is simply repressed by a lack of gameplay mechanics. (USER WAS BANNED FOR THIS POST) |

And would also please those hating NPC alts/players.
Would also please those who love wardec single man corps
But in the end the problem would still be the same, corps wouldn't get any more taxes than they already have because those players are not interested on giving them, and there's a reason for this, up to corporations holders to make sort those players actually like and want to join their corporation and dedicate effort for it.
You couldn't also dmg them isk wise just like you can't now, so in the end where's the real problem and how to solve it without breaking the current game? - trading skills and market fees are the answer but no one wants to touch this because at some point each and every one will or already gets huge profits from it and are not ready to let them go. It's easier to ask more taxes on different things, like minerals on your ore hold

Yes I do understand your point and giving options it's somehow a good thing to do but when you take a close look around at high sec/low sec/null sec you actually can figure out in the end, all taxes/rent whatever put together represent far more the the 11% NPC tax, and the majority of this isk does not serve/goes to corporation/alliance members. Even some alliances with important reimbursement programs with wallets literally exploding of isk manage to always keep their personal/friends/FC's wallet generously flooded+free plex etc while the grunt has to pay for he's loss while moving from point A to point B while not in fleet or whatever excuse. Of course this is not the case for all alliances and corporations but I'd really like to know where's that perfect corp because I'd like to play with them and I'm sure there are a couple hundreds if not thousands of players ready to join it and make it the next Eve winners.
It's not interesting to get in to details on why and how but the current tax system while I do think it needs some work it's more about holders/directors options vs players than the other way around because they already have far too much ways to flood their wallet with hideous amounts of isk. brb |

Own a station. Get a % cut of the ore refined at your station. Done.
Of course there are a few other details about owning a station, such as - keeping a station. Please don't be like a thousand other deluded fools who thinks that nullsec needs yet ANOTHER station. Take the ones that are there. Because after you've spent the multiple billions in making your very own station in that dead end pocket (which you just killed for everyone congrats), I guarantee that in two weeks or so someone will kick you out from your space, and there goes your station.
But yeah, station owners get to "tax ore".
