Hi everyone, there is a new build up on Sisi. Here are some relevant blogs:

This is a very early build so bear with us, there are a few issues we already know about and are working on:
Client thinks it canGÇÖt connect to server, displays GÇÿUnable to connectGÇÖ message User Pain: Extreme Workaround: Log in anyway.
Ship hangar (as opposed to captains quarters) does not load up when docking straight into it User Pain: High Workaround: Go to the CQ first and then to the ship hangar.
The captains quarters environments are not loading on docking into a new station User Pain: High Workaround: Close client and log in again, in the next session the CQ environment should load as expected, if it doesnGÇÖt see next item below.
Certain environments are failing to load resulting in a black screen User Pain: High Workaround: There is no clear workaround at this time, in fact we are no longer able to reproduce this issue but if any of you do please file bug reports.
The Amarr Captain Quarters walkway entrance has missing collision on the stairs causing players to fall through the world User Pain: High Workaround: Wear shades like a boss, and donGÇÖt walk around the Amarr CQ.
Station services are not loading up when starting client in ship spinning User Pain: Moderate Workaround: Undock, dock again.
Intro video doesnGÇÖt play properly User Pain: Moderate Workaround: Skip the video by hitting any key, audio may continue playing anyway.
The Corporation and PI screen in the Gallente CQ are non-functional User Pain: Low Workaround: No workaround.
Unable to leave ship in hangar view User Pain: Low Workaround: No workaround, note that you can switch ships you just can't be in a pod.

Ok.
First of all, I like the new font. It's much more readable than what's up on Tranquility right now.
Secondly, the Amarr quarters look nice. I'll check out the other two shortly, but I see no reason why I would be disappointed in them.
Thirdly, SHIP SPINNING. Nuff said.
One thing, though....did you absolutely have to butcher my character's body attributes. I'll definitely petition for another recustomization if this aspect goes up as is on Tranquility. |

That's very odd, could you please file a report with some logs so we can find out what might be breaking for you? Same goes for anyone else that might run into this, we need to find out what the common factors are for these kinds of issues. |

Looks like it wants to download the entire client, I can't tell you why. It's not due the size of the patch, should be a little over 1GB from current TQ build.

There are some instructions here. After getting some logs I would recommend giving the repair tool a go since there might just be some files missing from your client. |

I'm currently running repair, it is repairing thus I'm guessing SisiLauncher didn't download/patch everything properly.

Also having trouble finding the spinning toggle.
When I turn off the CQs and dock, the station environment doesn't load but there is a switch to CQ button. In the CQ, there is no switch to hangar button. |

Double-click on the holographic ship, either on your desk or in your hangar. That takes you back to ship spinning.

I used SisiLauncher to update from previous build to current, and got that EULA issue.
Now I used the repair tool, then ran the game and got the update dialog download, downloaded it, and installed it from there and still got the same problem.
Title: Stuck at EULA accept window, with no text and no scroll
Category: UI
Server/Build: Sisi/299262
Description: There is no text in the EULA after installing the update thus no scroll bar.
Reproduction Steps:
Had previous build already installet
a)
1. Ran SisiLauncher, and Repaired my test client 2. Ran the client
b)
1. Used repair tool 2. Ran the client 3. Downloaded and installed update (966mb aprox) 4. Ran the client
Computer: Intel i7 920 Realtek on-board sound ATI HD5770 1gb (Notice I have right now ATI Catalyst 11.10 Preview due to Battlefield 3 Open Beta) 6GB RAM

Yes my avatar has lost all his facial hair (beard and moustache), also his face is lighter and as I spin him around his hair changes from a sort of rusty, muddy colour on one side to dark, almost black on the other.
Another change is his trousers now have a pattern down the legs where they were plain black before.

SiSiLauncher fired it up nicely, about a gig patch.
Ship spin and better cyno/jump effects - good stuff.
New font is pretty dreadful though - given you've licensed Arial as a fallback font, I think you'd be better off just using that across the whole client as default. |

Just played on SISI for a bit... the Gallente CQ is sooo slick looking... until I rotated my mouse wheel and it went whacked-out psycho on me, various graphical elements started jumping all over the place. Trying to make a video of it to send off on a bug report.
Transactions tab on Wallet (both personal and corporate) is all screwy :) Data is not being parsed into the proper columns Type column shows Type and isk amount twice Price column shows station Quantity, credit, currency, client, where, etc., columns show nothing.
After self-destructing my pod, I woke up in station - but still see space :) It's even moving as if I was still in space.
Various and sundry font issues which I'll post in the requested thread.
Otherwise... nice to see progress!! Thank you, CCP

Isnt the undock/Enter CQ arrows on the wrong directions!?
I know that undock arrow was always pointing to the right but that was before having two arrows! Now, with both arrows, undock pointing left and out of screen makes more sense to the undock action and the blue pointing to the right and inside hangar to change hangar view!
Also, make it coherent. If in hangar view we have a arrow to change to CQ, also keep the arrow in CQ to change to hangar view and dont make us travel all way the CQ to change view! |

When I logged into Sisi my hair was gone. Went to the mirror to re-customize and get it back, and found that this style (<-- that style) seems to be bugged. No hair shows. Also my tattoo was different. So I selected another hair style and re-entered.
And I was invisible. The Avatar never showed. I could walk about, even sit on the Gallente CQ couch, but no avatar.
I undocked and the client crashed.
I relogged, docked and I was visible!
I found the hangar view, went to it, then went back the CQ, and my skin was gray.
I have not done sufficient tests to see what of this is reproduceable. Once I do, Ill do bug reports.
I like the new font.
When I'm in hangar view, is my balcony visible somewhere in the scene?
(MacBook Pro.) |

That change would be good, but know that the ship hologram on the balcony or the one in the room can be used, so you do not have to walk far.

With the added ship in hangar view, I think the terms for changing things need revision to make more sense.
When in CQ, the command "Leave ship" can be replaced with "Store ship" or "Make inactive". After all you are standing on a balcony, you have clearly left the ship.
Once that is done, "Go to hangar view" can become "Board ship". CCP employees should never proclaim a feature to be awesome. Only subscribers should. |

Not sure if this is a font or I18N issue (more likely: it seems a mask is wrong) so I'll start off here: I've noticed that in the character sheet, the time to completion for skills now no longer shows the d/h/m/s character after the days/hours/minutes/seconds amount. Instead, there is a colon. E.g. my skill completing in 3d 9h 15m 46s now has a blob of numbers barely separated by colons: 03:09:15:46 I could eventually get used to that, but I'd really like the old way back :) |

Same problem: Unable to connect to 87.237.38.50 on port 26000, while EvE-Offline says Singularity is up. Tested with Pingplotter: Destination adress unreachable, 100,00% packet loss. I have no problems connecting to Tranquillity and my firewall is turned off. |

This.
Have cleared cache, run repair etc. Same result from multiple machines, i'd think the server wasn't running but other people are clearly on.
Also, +1 for the awesome return of ship spinning   A return to hangar button in CQ would be nice, should be a toggle. |

its got to do with the check for patch fuction. [PatchVersionCheckFailed.error] network related next line is socket has closed {'error':"[errno 10054] an existing connection was forcibly closed by remote host.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but to everyone who complains about CCP not listening to their players needs to be directed here. Most of the time if a player asks a question, a dev answers the question.

On topic after the rant: Some minor problems when try to dock directly into hanger views, and textures don't 100% load in CQ. The "to captains quarters"(blue arrows) button is a neat idea, but maybe make it a toggle button (if your in hanger view it takes you to CQ, and if in CQ it takes you to hanger view.) other then that seems to run fine. The new CQ are super cool. I feel pity for people who has to live in a minmatar station --> me :(
The new font doesn't drive me crazy but it just works... maybe you could add the option to change teh colour of it (at least in the chat and in the overview... i still think that yellow will enhance the readability)
I really like the fade out / fade in when you jump through the jump gates ^^
The spinning ship hangar --- captain's quarter works. Just a suggestion To go to the hangar i need to use a button... and to go back another one put just before the undock (but blue colour) if i were you i would keep the blue button just because it's easier and it's just 1 button in the same place (or maybe add a button in the station service window :)

Regarding the Capital Cyno Effect, Just an idea.
First, The jump in effect is a little off. It needs to be Flash -> De-cloak Second, Reconsider the star trek Effect for the Cyno Jump out! Third, Would be cool if the color of the Jump in/out flash would be dependent on the fuel that the ship uses.
ex. Hydrogen = Blue, Oxygen = Yellow, Nitrogen = inert (Pick a color? White?), Helium = Pink (ROFL!)
1) It would be cool. 2) Easy to see what type of capital ship is jumping in at a glance. 3) Would follow RL flame color of each fuel! We all know "EVE is Real" right?! |

CQ: I know it's a work in progress, but as it is now... Minmatar: well, it's about perfect since it's the oldest Caldari: Real pretty, could use more lens flare though, and the sound emitters seem to be acting a tad strange, hanger noises just as loud as normal while in the actual quarters Gallente: Beautiful, stunning, like being in a Star Trek set, it just needs more Star Trek esque sounds and even MOAR lens flare, maybe a bit more color too...but that's just me. Amarr: Sounds are silly right now, all I could hear was pod goo filters or something, also I didn't see any statues, is this a feature for only Amarr races? Other than that, pretty good.
Ship spinning: Step in the right direction, but there's some serious issues... Amarr: The little civilian ships don't follow their old routes and are incidentally appearing disappearing out of nowhere, and crashing through solid objects and stuff...might want to fix that. Caldari: Pretty solid, but some of the textures (or results of the bump maps, can't tell) make some areas look a bit weird. Gallente: OH SWEET MERCIFUL TEXTURE GODS...what happened? I don't remember the Gallente hangers looking this bad...but even the textures in TQ look bad from the balcony...I think you might want to dig back into the files archive for some better ones, or fix the current set...cause for me at least...it's really distracting and ugly. Minmatar: Haven't looked yet. General: Could we get the blue arrows as a general thing, it would help with the "oh let's walk over to the ship options tools and board the ship"
Font: BIG FONT IS BIG. Standard gripes about that, etc. etc. It looks nice as a font, but needs some work to fit better.
Ti-Di: Really fricking sweet, this is one of the greatest things I've seen, especially during the fleet fight, when it got really slow and even when it was stopping, it was epic, cinematic, and outright awesome. I just wish that the camera drones would respond faster so I could get some of the action shots better...but that's a minor issue.
New NeX Items: Finally, some clothes that are easy to mix and match with, and there's a bit more color coordination now it seems, but I kinda like the Metal Gear eye patch, very Caldari esque in my opinion...I just want to see more implants, more tattoos, scars, etc. Tattoo layering would be cool, but scar layering, that's what I really want...not for this char though...and on the topic of face mods, back to tattoos; when are we going to get the cool Minmatar tattoos back? You know, like the ones from the original portrait creator? It'd be awesome if you could bring in some of the clothes, hair, accessories, tattoos, etc from the classic portrait creator, there was some really good stuff.
New Cyno: Pretty cool needs some timing and maybe ship decloak adjustments, what I think it should do is do the prep, big flash, and then in the middle of the big flash, the ship appears, instead of the ship appearing and then the cyno effect happens...just me though. |

In trying to get SISI running. I did the following
1. Downloaded and tried to run the SISI Launcher Result: It would not even run. It was like I didin't even click on the icon. It would load into memory and imediately remove itself.
2. I manually copied C:\Program Files\CCP into C:\EVETEST\CCP 3. I created a shortcut to run with the following: C:\EVETEST\CCP\EVE\eve.exe /server:Singularity 4. I ran the new Icon (7.11.292761) Result: It says new update is available, downloading and running it says at the top "Update 292761 -> 299262 Setup" but in the notes area it says "Incursion 1.5"
5. Applying the patch results in a corrupted client that will not run and suggest running the repair. Result: Running the repair fails.
6. Deleted the EVETEST directory and re-copied it 7. Decided to manually download the patch from http://www.eveonline.com/patches/patches.asp?s=singularity 8. Dropdown indicates 298712 to be the latest. 9. "Current Client Cersion:" below that indicates 299262 10. Downloaded the latest patch. (299262) 11. Ran the patch. Result: "Applying the patch failed do you wish to launch repair tool..."
12. Yes Result: Repair apears to run, but does not indicate anything after the window goes away.
13. Attempt to run the updated SISI link. Result: Verification Failure. "Your EVE client installation may have modified, damaged or corrupt files. Please run repair.exe..." "timestamp 2011.01.11 09:50:16, expected "209.02.25 10:35:34"
14. Got pissed off Again.
Anybody have any ideas of the cause and/or fix?

* Caldari CQ. I happened to be docked in Jita during the mirror, so this was the first thing I got to check out. Awesome how you can see the reflection of the huge TV on your avatar's shiny surfaces and also the black leather (?) of the sofa.
* New lightning-ball cyno effect (saw it in a video) looks cool.
* Hangar is back!
Untested stuff:
* I couldn't make today's TiDi mass-test due to other things going on at that time (work) so I didn't get a chance to see TiDi in action.
* Haven't stopped by an Amarr or Gallente station yet.
Not-working stuff:
* (minor) my cargohold window reopens itself on EVERY GATE JUMP
* (minor) the zoom level in-space resets to make my ship take up almost full screen on EVERY GATE JUMP
* (medium) Map doesn't appear via F10 or via Neocom button in the ship hangar (at least not in Jita) but works properly in space or in CQ.
* (important but not game-breaking on my machine) Overall in-space performance FPS is down from TQ build (maybe the shiny new font rendering takes more GPU horsepower?
* (major) lasers on a ship I was testing (ratting) didn't stop cycling (turned red but never shut off) so I couldn't switch targets etc, also only seemed to do damage on the 1st volley.

Ship Spinning and CQ Maybe a little thing but. It always bugged me when CQ came out the the ship was floating above the platform and not on one of the pads. With ship spinning returned it is really obvious now.
The ship should be on the pad. Yes that will make them smaller but now comes part 2.
The point of view when you are in CQ looking over the bay is off. The first thing I did when jumping from CQ to the ship was to see if I could find where I was looking from while in CQ. Not going to happen with the Amarr for example as I am where the exit is while in CQ.
Amarr station IF possible the Point of view should be moved along the left wall. The pad center up on the left side that would work for the ship location. Little things like this needs to be fixed otherwise it starts looking pieced together if that makes any sense.

Okay so pre-incarna the hangar view would not push my card into 3D mode until I had at least 3 clients open. Now on my GTX 480 its at 60% usage in 3D mode.. only slightly lower than CQ...
The whole reason I turned off CQ was because of the usage. Driver version 285.38 |

Some issues that I've seen so far;
1. Cannot rotate the solar system map via holding the left mouse button down after creating a bookmark whilst warping between two points. BR 117089 submitted. *Edit* work-around is to exit/reenter Solar Map view
2. Information window reverts back to the original position/size in upper left corner of the screen each time the info button is pressed in the Selected Item Box, as well as the R-click context menu.
3. There is an annoying extra distance counter in the upper left corner of the screen which flashes. We already have enough distance counters with the HUD, Selected Items Box, the overview, and the selected item on the UI screen 
4. Group Tab of the market is not loading properly whether in space or docked. The only way for me to purchase items is through the Details tab of the market.
5. Fonts; there are a few areas where the font is just too big/overlapping such as the overview and the system scanner. A bit of tweaking is needed I think.
These are in addition to the known issues on page one.
Now, as far as general feedback on the latest build.....WOW! (not that other game!!!) I am liking this so far!!!! Space flight seems to be running smoother for me. I like the fade in/out when I jump. I love having my ship view back (altho I would appreciate being able to look up as well). Due to where I live, it is extremely difficult for me to participate in the mass tests, but am looking forward to TD on TQ in the (near?) future. As you can prolly guess from my comp specs below, I still haven't tried any of the CQ's.

1. Tuck options on clothing have stopped working correctly.
2. Can we please, please, please, please get an update on when character face and body proportions will be returned to normal? It's a real problem.
3. When in CQ, you need a button in the sidebar for switching to ship-spinning or you will get a thousand complaints about broken promises.
4. Sometimes I can't move the fitting window anymore, and there isn't a button to close it. It closes normally with Alt-F. The buttons spontaneously appear after a while. This happens with other windows too.
5. Capsule placement in CQ is still absolutely ridiculous. Can it be moved to a de-podding room, please?
6. It's possible to swing the camera inside the bed pod in the Caldari CQ and see the side of the door that you haven't modelled.
7. Character's shadow does not always update as fast as the rest of the scene and looks jerky. Happens most prominently near the door to the Caldari CQ balcony.
8. As stated in this thread, I really think we need a sense of scale returned to the CQ. Please return the ship to its position above the pad where it normally is in the ship-spinning hangar.
9. A lot of "no resource:" errors are popping up in places where we should be getting normal text.
10. Very obvious clipping error in the Minmatar CQ. (Top left)
11. Now that we have ship spinning back, it becomes unpleasantly clear that the Gallente CQ is actually hanging in the middle of empty space. I suggest moving it to this cross-shaped construction which looks like it's meant to have offices and quarters there anyway.
12. Timing on the new cyno effect is just a little off - possibly start the animation a little sooner before the ship actually appears. The effect itself is gorgeous though, good work.
13. Number spacing with the new font is not equivalent, which means timestamps don't line up properly.
14. Obvious untextured parts of Gallente CQ.

A few more things to add to your list for checking;
Whenever I undock, my ship is always facing me head (front) on and not facing away from me (the station) like it always did and has to turn around to fly away from the station.
As reported, jumping through a gate or undocking always opens the cargo hold and resets the ship size to default view (closeup) and not zoomed out like it jumped.
As reported, my avatar has lost all facial hair.
No GÇÿreturn to hangerGÇÖ button when looking at GÇÿthe doorGÇÖ.
Running Eve on a small screen 1366*768 (my laptop) causes many text messages and prompts to GÇÿscrunch upGÇÖ or overlap making the words unreadable. The text really needs to be vectored so it scales with the screen size.
Odd windows have a habit of either jumping to default positions or changing from unpinned to pinned for no apparent reason.
Somewhere I read in a blog that our avatar would be facing the ship when we decant into the CQ on the balcony. Well close but no cigar, my avatar is sort of 45deg towards the ship but not facing it.
The bed needs to be longer (or the avatar shorter) in the Gallente quarters or we canGÇÖt lie down (assuming you ever get round to animating that ).
No station name above the entrance door to my quarters in the Gallente version and if you do put it back could you make it a bit more prominent, larger or brighter text, possible a spotlight trained on it. |

We're taking this build off Sisi and replacing it with one of the staging branches, this means that the new features that are in development will not be available on Sisi for the time being. It also means we are moving back to the mirror from last week.

This is all such a joke! Last Fanfest it was mentioned that the quarters will come in sommer, just as a final test for incarna and then the station envoirment will be comming within the next month. What now? Now we get the other already promised quarters when we should get the stations. My Version is 7.11.300737
Is this not the latest version or am I missing something?
I get a patch every time I've started SiSi today... it gives a small, text-less progressbar window that fills in ~10 seconds, then it presents the launcher asking if I want to play on SiSi or Duality. So I pick SiSi, it starts up fine and logs in fine, except I don't see any of the new stuff you are all talking about. |

Instead we get a puke-green Geddon and a load of leafy camouflage paint jobs in space!! I guess the art director was sick at home when that got pushed out. That great scorpion re-model was ruined in most incarnations by crummy paint jobs... Someone who never got out of their village trying to be hip? Camouflage in space would be nebulous and maybe have a splattering of stars on it, not foliage imitation!!

Well when it was on sisi it remembered your last setting if you were in the CQ, undocked then redocked you would come back to the CQ, if you undocked in the ship hanger you would come back to it when you docked again.
It basically operated like a toggle switch, you could turn the CQ on or off, but without having to go into the ESC menu. |

My bigest problem is that when I logged in to SiSi after the ship spinning was added, I was taken back to a previous build of my char. Before I had a Thanatos and the skills to fly it(crappy mind you) but now I have neither the thanatos or the skills.
