the hot dropping in low sec is getting a little carried away, with major allaince's titan bridging in a ton of battle ships or hot dropping mom's, so i was thinking, what we need is a single point cyno jammer. a mod that can be fitted perhaps only on heavy dictor's that when activated prevents the target from popping cyno's. it wont stop hot dropping, but it will slow it down a little, and yes im just a pirate alt, but lets be fair when have pirtaes had a buff, im sure i cant be the only one in eve that feels this way, so if ya aggree, bump this and hopfully ccp will think abount putting this in game |

Your solution would be to roll a facwar alt for the next patch, and if you want a system to be jammed, spend 300k of your lp upgrading the system to level V, then spend however much (100m i think + LP) to buy a cyno jammer from the facwar store + online it, for whenever you want to not get hotdropped! :D |

well that is one idea, but i was think more of small gangs that wants to roam and have a fighting chance against blobs, i understand that eve is a community based game but the massive blobs that are formed take alot of the fun of the game. im sure i cant be the only one in eve that is tired of the massive gangs |

Allow me to point out that if there were such a mod, any alliance capable of hot dropping supers or titan bridging will be more than capable of coming in and popping a hictor, should it be fitted.
Covert cyno, with BlOps bridging in bombers, perhaps? Covert cyno which cannot be jammed, by the way.
Gatecrashing your camp and primary your hictor with alphadeath, perhaps?
Keep trying, you'll find some idea that may be reasonable that will be ignored by the devs.

Know your enemy.
If you find a group that consistantly hot drops, just deny them a fight. They want the fight as much as you, and eventually they won't get any at all.
Or: If you know they drop 3 carriers regularly... Find someone bigger that wants 3 carrier kills, and set it up. But again, know your enemy. |

This guy is clearly a ****** and doesn't understand the game, which is no doubt why he's in a pet alliance in nullsec with the rest of the sheep,
I think the idea has merit, maybe a ship built for this task (another destroyer/cruiser maybe???), to live alongside the hic, it would be far from a stop to all cynos but it would reward the better prepared pirates.

There is always the political solution, but while 'know your enemy' is good advice, also be careful who you get in bed with. |

titans r already making the major allainces to powerful (thats just my opinion) .. u cant build them in low sec or high sec. u cant use them in high sec, u shouldnt be able to use them in low sec.............ccp please keep that stuff in 0.0 or at the very least give the rest of us the ability to counter it |

Just tie all cyno activity to sovereignty and make any activity 'abroad' have some pretty severe consequences such as loss of immunity for supers, dispersion of bridged ships (or prevent bridges entirely) and what not.
Introduce a second POS module for use in null to supplement the actual cyno denial provided by the jammer and have the effect of said module be permanently in place in Empire (read: Lowsec).
In short: Let them drop to their hearts content but open the door for them being waylaid by locals using means available to them (ie. everything but supers). |

I know...
Make a new generator for the HIC, can't be fitted if there's already a Warp Disruption Field Generator fitted. So this particular HIC will only be able to jam cynos, not warps.
And its unscripted, so you project a bubble like usual. And like the usual bubble, you become immobile and vulnerable while projecting.
And just to make it tougher... you have to build this new generator in a Capital Ship Assembly Array, so you need Sov someplace to make them. |

OPs solution doesent help for one bit since cynoalts blot out the sun.
I dislike the ideas to create more artificial rules and boundaries instead of reinforcing the sandbox.
Face the facts and break free from the illusion that your supposed to be han solo in an MMO. Your small pirate gang aint supposed to be able to resist the might of the massive fleet from some massive alliance. All you can do is deal with it, deny their goal of killing you, hit and run tactics, high mobility.
Lowsec has little people in it for a reason you know .... because its a craphole for anything else but farm LP from FW atm. |

dude grow some balls and post with your main or shut the **** up, no1 cares what mr annon thinks.
What about another script to go inside the hics infi point thingy?? and the two cant be used at the same time by the same ship, meaning you need a second hic on grid? it would reward the prepared and not be i think overpowered, as you can only use them before cyno is lit |

I personally think a aeo device or ongrid device would be well op, a targeted cyno blocker but not stopper ( it has to be on target and activated before they light the cyno) would i think be perfect,
I have lived in lowsec for a while and it seems everywhere i go theres a corp with a titan and bridging itself is well OP as there is clearly no counter to it, you either stay on grid and 9/10 times you die as they have clearly got you scouted and have countered your gang, or you run and dock, sacrificing the stragglers that get caught, you could counter this by saying get more scouts and scout there titan, but really is that the answer for everything in this game?
I think this is a long time overdue. |

The scan res on this proposed ship is awesome, it'll be a big hit at gate camps!
I don't think a bubble mechanic would be out of the question. It would certainly be limited to the local grid, in fact it would be quite possible to fly outside the bubble and light a cyno. |

i guess i should of been more clear, yes im only asking for something that works on grid, i was hoping for a mod u activate on a ship before it lights the cyno, other wise if it lights the cyno first your to late, some will say u can use a ships scanner, but most of the time u dont have time to scan a target before it gets away |

Watch along while I narrate...
At 48sec, they spot a Pilgrim decloaking. Ships begin moving to intercept, targeting and moving into range.
At 55sec, it lights a Cyno. That's 7 seconds for you and your wonder jammer to stop him.
At 58sec, ships begin jumping in. One of these first ships inbound is carrying another Cyno, because they know the first will be dead very soon.
At 1:04, the Pilgrim dies. His lifespan on grid was 20 seconds.
At 1:05, more ships pour in. Somewhere in those 6 seconds, another Cyno went up... everyone was a little too busy to notice.
So... how's that single target Cyno Jammer working out for you? |

im not asking for a magic win button, i understand that there r alot of possiblities that could happen in eve game play. its just that there needs to be a way to try and counter the bridging in low sec, lets be honest titans were put into game for 0.0 game play, for major allaince to have their wars over sov in 0.0, my idea is just trying to give the smaller gangs in eve that dont want to be in 0.0 a place to play/fight without all the allaince bullshit |

Ublublublublublublub!
I have been Titan bridge upon in lowsec once. Having aligned to a celestial like the FC wanted, I scooted from the scene. My derpface friends, who thought "align to celestial" meant "bump off gate" died. Ublublublub.
I have been hotdropped by Nyx's three times in Lowsec. Having a ship which goes faster than 0m/s, I escaped the long point of the cno Hound whilst killing it, and warped to a celestial before the massive behemoths targeted my BC. On one occasion, my foes died, losing a Vindicator. Ublublublublub.
I have died at least 50 times in lowsec to people with a web and scram who i could not outrun. Clearly, Titans are blotting out the sun and need nerfing, because someone has a toon stuck in those ships and signs them on for a few minutes once a week to bridge fleets on top of me ALL THE TIME. My buttocks are incredibly sore and my e-peen is shrivelled so CCP needs to make a module which stops these guys who have spent tens of billions of ISK on their ships and trained for years and have the social capital to amass enough friends to make titan bridging hotdrops on my poor, shiftless, antisocial whiny vagrant self possible.
That's how this game works, right? The tough pick on the weak in lowsec, and then the weak get ships and modules added into the game to make their inadequacies and lack of skill go away.
Well, OK, i'll concede the ASBs help in this regard, but asidde from that....no. Taking submissions for "Trinkets friendly Advice Column" via evemail or private convo in-game. Anonymity sorta guaranteed.

also with the new FW low sec 1 h cyno jammer , you atleast got a tactical window to deny the enemy from using caps (atleast untill they kill the jammer or forces them to sneak in capital support beforehand). |

Nullsec get bubbles lowsec gets a targeted cyno jammer, i think its about time lowsec had a buff of some sort as as far as i can recall its been a while since the pirates got any love? (FW is for faggots and bears, im talking a buff for pirates) |
