With the departure of Seraphim technologies there are simply no pvp corps left in stain to defend their region. out of the 150 peeps in stain alliance chat at any given time they can not organise a 5 man gang to defend their space.
Stain while it may have not officially declaired its demise is certainly finished as a formal alliance.
Secondly after flying autopilot through xetic space last night for 45 jumps and seeing no one I assume the Xetic alliance is soon to follow. there are hardly any people on the map in 0.0 in either Stain or Xetic regions , where have they all gone too.
Makes me wonder if Curse may not have had the right idea and abandonded the formal alliance sice it seems the ex Curse corps seem to be faring far better than the Stain or Xetic corporations.

Since u have no ide then ill tell u that SE and Xetic are long long long way from being DEAD. All thouse corp who left stain did leave in GOOD TERM! And all of them been in se since this game did start and wanna try out new thinks in this game. SE is still strong althrough some old school corp have left that region but there are ALOT of new good corp there and it is time for new souls to take over.
U should not juge the alliance when u see few carebears wineing about noone helping them when they need help.
Thouse who like to fight are fighting without talking much about it and thats why u will see more wining from carebears in alliance chat then from the real fighters.
But man i think it is so funny u actully think the alliance is dead when u dont meet pilot for 45 jumps that one day :)
Ohh damm they must be dead if they cant camp there system 23/7 :)

From my personal experiance in other online games, ive found that alliances/guilds(corps in this case) often lose "key" sections of their force (traders/fighters/leaders etc), and in almost all cases someone sets-up and fills the void.
This most often happens in larger groups and even more commonly in the more stable sections of player life.
In Eve there should be no exception, the game will evolve and the players will do so with the game. Just takes one person to speakup and motivate others to have knock-on effect causing total restoration/give new life.

Then tell me who is it that are saving your alliance frankly there are very few peeps in the stain alliance left and very few of them pvp. The ones that do are getting tired of protecting people who dont care enough to undock and help with their own defense.
This is what has driven your pvp corps from Stain Empire. the lack of support from the people that want to do nothing but line their pockets all day long.
Well it has now been sucessfull only the carebears are left and no one can undock or move through Stain Empire without getting ganked by Numerous Enemy Invaders that rome Stain Space unchecked.
Have fun little carebears I doubt you will make it back to empire with all your stuff.
I would await a press release but I dont think there is anyone left with the capcity to announce it , Stain will just die a quiet death.

People are leaving Stain because the only threats SE have ATM are 10-man raider corps that log off at the first sign of a fair right. YAAAAWWWWNNNNN thanks for boring SE to death.
All corps have left on good terms, maintain travel access and still have vast resources in Stain. |

That's still a significant number. Stain isn't dead just because their founders and best pvp'ers have left...

Oh and with Seraphim moving to Curse area to setup a new group with some of the old SA corps it looks like they'll have some juicy targets too

Several of the corp's that left SE, including us, still function with SE and Xetic on defense of key area's. We not have the SE flag, but we still honor and respect them. And we love killing the rag-tag outfits that are filtering in.

The departure of a few big corps has admittedly lead to a lack of organisation in stain untill recently..
The remaining corportaions have now organised themselves.
Any reluctence to engage certain pirate forces in Stain have been due to the use of lame log off tactics and low slots full of WCS by said hostile forces. People have simply not been bothered to go after them for these exact reasons.
However, 9rq and the surrounding area last night saw a new begining, and offensive operations are now begining in earnest to clear the undesirable elements out of southern Stain.
To them I say, leave or stay and fight we do not care.. the end result will be the same.. you will not be in Stain space much longer.
I will not post futher in this topic, so dont bother flaming.

As max said, BS.I had nothing to do with the DSMA/CFS war against FA. In fact i wanted to stand against FA and stop being pushed around. At the time the alliance was not ready, so we left.
The DSMA/CFS had guts to try and stop FA imo. Just a shame the alliance disbanded.
For your information, BS.I has been fighting for SE since we joined. We have not shyed away from combat in the time we were in SE, in fact quite the reverse. We we're soliders and did our part, that is all.

My intel tells me that Xetic are currently hiding in their stations out in 0.0 as they have been having visitors that have been ganking them there.
Also there arent more than maybe 20 Xetic total in their 0.0 region, so where is all these 5000 peeps that are in your alliance. Oh they must either all be alts.. or they have left to go play WOW and Xetic just wont kick their inacative members because they like saying that they have 5000 members.
Frankly,
the corps at war with you will begin to realise that you are not defending your home in immensea and start bringing it to you out there, because once you are through Hed-gp it is smooth sailing all the way to the Xetic stationed systems.
and there are roughly only like 10 - 20 Xetic people in those systems total and my guess would be that 80 pct of those there are not going to put up a fight if a large force walked in and started taking stations. Xetic is soon to fall and they wont have any land to tell people to get off of, they can go continue their carebear ways back in empire because it is clear that they are an empire alliance.

My intel tells me that Factory Lackey is currently hiding in a station in empire as he has no time to do anything else but bless us with his super informative important posts of brilliance.
With his amazing mind powers he says that he knows all and predicts the future all in while he speaks behind an alt so he can hide his brillance from envy. He likes to predetermine things as an alt which should be taken seriously because his Anti-Xetic posts are a scarcely found topic among these forums.
Frankly, he would like to opinionate the warring corps of Xetic to follow his plans to dominating Xetic because he knows all about Xetic and would like to share it with the rest of the forums with his amazing alt.
So as I am representing his alt with my alt I would like to say that his statments are very very true and that he would like to see Xetic leave their space and go to empire so they could leave him be while he mines his asteroids without those Xetic Carebears bothering him. So come on in guys, the water is fine...or so says Factory Lackey, possibly the smartest alt to ever grace the EVE universe. |

FFS ppl... Show some balls and use your main chars.
Although some corps have left Stain Empire there are alot of corps left who can manage the Empire on there own. Mass is not a requirement for the Stain Empire's survival. And most of the crops that did leave did so on friendly terms.
About these guys "fighting" SE in stain region. Me and one Mass dude, both in assault frigs, came across a sniper temp on a gate. We approached him and in the end when I was 20km from him, shields not even scratched, he warped away and logged. This is the closest I have come to acctually fighting them. They dont fight. They gank rouge travellers and flee when sombody with guns and the potential to hurt them comes along.
I'm not an expert but all these Xetic POS's scattered all around the Northern area must require alot of Xetic presence in 0.0 space. Other than that I have no idea what Xetic is up to.

The problem lies not with stain, xetic nor any alliance in general. The Problem is quite simply resides in 0.0 space in general. The profits from being there are no longer as substaintial that none pvp'ers were willing to live there.
Instead the only people living in 0.0 are pvp'ers and as such fights are few and far between. Not sure if ccp intended for this, but we'll soon see i guess :).

Yup, couldnt agree more...U can make more isk in emp space than in 0.0 space + u dont have to pay alliance rent + u dont have to defend. 0.0 isnt what it used to be. If 0.0 space is not more profitable than emp, then soon noone will be living there. If u want to pvp u can allways live close to 0.0 space ;) or just take a trip on someone else 0.0 space.

Yup a couple of hours mission running and I score an implant which I sold for 55 mil, much better than chaining BS spawns for 8 hours to make 20M in bounty and then have to haul all your loot 40 jumps back to empire.
I would say that o.o got nothing on empire at this point

when its members don't get on.
when its space is full of hostiles.
when the biggest fleet it can manage is 20 ships.
maybe all these?
or maybe it when all but 1 founding corp has left and its older members have been in the alliance longer than 90% its other have been playing.
a alliance is dead the second they nolonger have a reason to stay together and curse was the biggest member of se in that regard.
