CCP would definitely sell a blind boy a dead bird!!
Honestly, are you folks at CCP completely incompetent? Do you have any clue what your code does when it is patched into a persistent game environment? If you do then you are even more incompetent then I thought at first glance.
Our corporation lost all its lab slots and most of its factories. We were good boys paying our rents and using what slots we had in the game. We had blue prints ejected and builds canceled out of the blue. In addition, what factories we did have now have rents due again even though we just paid them. What the hell are we supposed to do now CCP? Do you have enough pride to even offer a suggestion or are you going to just ignore ignore ignore?
This current patch is totally irresponsible on the part of CCP and needs immediate attention and correction. The question which comes to mind is whether there is anyone at CCP capable of correcting or even admitting their errors.
Happy Fourth of July.

No rent was being charged for factory slots. Corporations who have said slots are now being charged backpay. Every hour you are charged another factory fee until the amount of backpay you owe is reached.
Hope this helps,

We are right there with you. CCP took away all our Factory and Lab slots. Now we have corpmembers at offices with blueprints and materials that are useless.
We used our slots every day. We paid every bill. Now we are out of the game. None of us can manfacture or research anymore.
I can not begin to express my frustration with CCP over this. Two months of game time wasted.
We are currently discussing if we wish to even continue under such conditions or move to a different game.
Thank you CCP.

Since you obviously have NO idea what it's like to code a project as big as EVE i'll give you a small hint to what's what.
It's no secret that the game was released slightly prematurely for reasons we don't have to discuss here. I have no doubt what so ever that CCP are well aware of most of the bugs in the game right now but finding and fixing even the simplest problem in an algorithm or function can take hours, and considering that an average coder makes one major bug in about 100 lines of code you can imagine how many hours per day they have to spend bughunting.
Todays patch cleared out quite a few nasty bugs and advanced the gameplay with new implementations as well. The way I see it this game becomes better with every patch they release and they are obviously working very hard right now to bring the game to a level they feel is acceptable before returning to normal 8hr workdays.
Humbly waiting for the next patch.

"We are currently discussing if we wish to even continue under such conditions or move to a different game."
So is all of Xenon corp - 17 accounts.
If this isnt fixed, im out of here for sure. Pann stated publicly that factory changes would occur on the end of the 3rd lease cycle. If things are to be changed you have a responsibility to let us know! I could have stayed on until the patch was done to secure our factory and labs slots, but oh no! Dont give us any warning.
Total imcompetance.

Ranting is prohibited A ๔rant๖ is a post which is long-winded, redundant and filled with angry, non-constructive comments. A free exchange of ideas is essential to building a strong sense of community and helpful in the development of the game, but rants are disruptive and incite flaming and trolling. Please post your thoughts in a concise, clear manner and avoid going off on rambling tangents.
Redundant threads will be deleted. As a courtesy to others before beginning a new thread, please look to see if an active thread on that topic has already been established. If so, place your comments there instead. Multiple threads on the same subject clutter up the forum needlessly and many good ideas may be lost. Keep discussions about one topic to one thread only. --------------------

You know, Star Wars Galaxies is out now. It has half the bugs, it is already 'balanced'. Maybe we just do it better in the U.S.A. :)

Ompah, i think the big fixing is ok, there are still a few annoying bugs left but bugs are being fixed with each patch (and yes, a few are being added to each patch as well). The big problem though is their supposed fixes for problems caused by idiots and how those fixes just allow those idiots to exploit the game more.
"Why attack a newbie in empire space now when you can simply be destroyed, better to steal his ore and have the police kill him when he tries to defend himself" I bet idiots such as bald ***** aka gold brick are laughing to themselves about how much easier it is for them to destroy the game with each new patch.
