Ok my friend is now bragging to me off the wall but he refuses to tell me what it is and where. All i know is that he said he found a massive boulder of somethng called Mercoxit. He said it would last him a life time. He refused to explain any more. What is that stuff and whty was he so happy to find a lifetime supply of it?

Mercoxite afak (im not a miner) a deep core mining ore thats fairly expensive. And why he¦s so exsited? Well, i wouldnt know, lifeless stones in space has never rocked my boat

Morphite is not just expensive, it goes for around 30,000 per unit and needs to be deep core mined. He is wise not to disclose his location, as he may as well hang up a large neon sign saying "Pirates please gank my mining operation: Loads of $$$$$ available"!
The 'roids themselves damage any surrounding cans/driods/ships when popped, so it's entertaining to mine them as well!

and is worth alooooot, and is used for tech 2 manufacture.
remind him not to use havistures to mine it, as these asteriods are usually surrounded by a cloud of radioactive crap, and will destroy his drones.

asteriods grow over time.
if this source has never been tapped into it may be extremly large. this might give him the impression that it is a life time supply.

Have a chat with him and when ur sure hes mining, then find him with a location agent.
Go to that system and openup the scanner at the roid belts.
