The death of ROL
Anyone who knew the leadership of rol didn't see this as any suprise, it just took the correct nudge in the right direction, and the HBC did that.
Let me start of by giving you a little backround on ROL leadership. It's run basically by 2 people, Imperror Togosaki and Big Bas. Though the former doesn't go by that name since that's about 3 sets of botting and RMTing account bans later. They are both russian and only one speaks halfway decent english that people still can't understand. Meaning the EU and US tzGÇÖs basically have to wait for russian TZ for **** to happen. During the delve Conflict the Main leader, Big bas was coming off of another RMT ban that they tried to hide as a GÇ£VacationGÇ¥. And not to mention both were not to be found when Paragon was being invaded.
Now the logistics side if you can call it that. Almost all the neo dyspro and Prom moons in Rol space were run by one corp, Devil Human Darkside. They also ran almost all of the jump bridges. Now this entire corp apparantly has only one active person, He has a full time job and therefor can't dedicate much time to eve. So because of thise Jump bridge PosGÇÖs go offline they go unfueled for months, sov drops in the systems they hold ect. When HBC started Reinforcing western paragon and middle paragon it took 4 days do get a new jump bridge online,
Day 1 anchor pos Day 2 online Pos Day 3 anchor Jump bridge module and guns Day 4 Finally turn them on
And in the end it didn't even shoot hostiles when they shot it the first time.
This went on several times when jump bridges were reinforced or shot and then repped up, Or they didn't have any guns on them or ecm.
Neo moons had small towers, most days less than 24 hours of stront, or exactly 24 hours of stront, or no stront.
Basically a logistics network that barely functioned when we wernt under sov war really was in the spotlight when sov war happened. No one was happy with this and it caused a great deal of frustration because were ROLs logistics failed covens was amazing and ROL ended up using their network to get to paragon more than it's own, With Coven JbGÇÖs being up and work less than 10 hours after they were reinf for incapped and the JB pos in OSUF staying up till the very end.
Now a little info on how ROl delt with Sov and it's corps.
The executor corp would keep a good chunk of nice systems for itself while barely showing up for ctas or doing more than log on to start botting, But they handed out Space to it's corps and they ran the systems and the stations in there with few exceptions. One of them Being AZN it's capital system. FSB gave the system to a relativly new corp in the alliance at the time Called TAN. , TAN was a corp former of IRC in which leaving they stole some assets for themselves. With no impressive killrecord or CTA attendance one has to wonder how they made it into the alliance to begin with. After TAN passed it's 3 month trial period they were given a station system to live in, This being the ROL capital. While they were given the SOV they didn't get the Station due to it being the capital you know! Now during their time in the alliance barely any showed up to CTAGÇÖs or did much besides whine and ***** about campers. So alot saw their time numbered. When information came through that they were about to join TJA the info got passed onto the Leadership, Imperror and Big bas. What did they do? Nothing. So when TAN decided to cut the cord they dropped sov and PL moved in with their supers and having no warning Almost all of ROL got all their PVP assets stuck in AZN since it was the primary staging system.
Coupled with a second corp leavin the alliance at the same time to form what will come to hold most of old ROL space a impromtu meeting was formed in ROL TS where the russians proceeded to argue for 20 minutes in russian completelly ignoring the EU and US part of the alliance. When the english speaking portions were told what's going on they were informed ROL was not putting up a fight and pulling back to Stain while they lose all their sov, They informed the corps if they want to leave they are more than welcome to. A few corps and CEOs at this time got pretty pissed off seeing 250 online in alliance and no fleet forming, They proceeded to argue with leadership to form a fleet to try and protect them or start asking where their allie -A- was [loliknowright]. Maka was dragged into the channel and then he proceeded to tell everyone they were ******** and need to sit in station and spin their ships. While most realized that they couldnt counter the numbers of HBC at that moment giving up without a fight wasn't sitting well and a CEO or 2 told maka to GÇ£**** offGÇ¥ and GÇ£Shut the **** upGÇ¥. Which drove him into a rage of spewing **** about how hes lead SOCO for a whole year and he should have quit eve blah blah blah but ended with him rage logging from ROL TS.
Following those events a large portion of ROLGÇÖs main pvpers started to leave the alliance and make plans to leave, THe end result is looking like ROL will only be left with Russian corps as the EU and US ones started looking elswhere. While a decent chunk of the Pvpers form a new alliance to take over the former ROL space and join the HBC.

Some of you may remember reading about a few of the starting fights for western paragon where ROL tried to put up a defence and then couldnt meet the numbers. Well most saw the alliance ending then and there, With their border systems under attack and ROL not being able to field more than 100 of their own for a timer that the executor ordered posGÇÖs and ihubs to be set at was major fail, The only time the field was held was once when -A- showed up the one time they made it on time. Noteing they either showed up late, or not at all despite being asked or promising to show up. A baby super tower that was killed by HBC was ordered to have a specific time so -a- would be able to show up in numbers and when they finally made it know they were coming down they were late and didn't even bother making it halfway down when they heard hbc killed it in the 30 minutes they were late during. Kadeshi and later on Coven were the only real allies of ROL that showed up with any numbers at all.
Oh and lets not forget 3 months ago when Nulli left the south, They left a nice pocket of Truesec systems in eastern Omist. Which ROL claimed and then Promtly rented out to red alliance. Despite the fact that some of their corps were in need of more stratigically placed sov due to Paragon being next door to tribal. Leadership ignored them promising them the systems after RA had a chance to isk up. First it was 1 month, Then halfway through that one month it was 2 months, at the end of 2 and a half months it turned into 15 days later, After which RA passed the sov then ROL dicked around for 3 days and didn't even give up the systems before they died. THinking of their wallets before their Corps.
This and more led the the eventuall fall and fate that's not to much different than that of Romanian Legion who got banished to stain and has since become a Has been.

ROL fizzlebeef. Also post with thine main. "For example, if you are thinking about selling a Republic Fleet Firetail as a regular Firetail, be sure that the market volume is high on regular Firetails and that there are plenty of buy/sell contracts for Republic Fleet Firetails. I found it interesting how everyting went south for ROL so badly. I'm by no means an extremely experienced eve player as is evidence by my join date. Keeping that in mind, is seems as though it isn't very uncommon for alliances that include corps from different time zones as well as language barriers have difficulty staying afloat. |

A truly cryogenic yarn, kinsman.
Now mods, could you move this cliche'd herf-blurfing to that toilet known as CAOD, and ban the OP please, thank you There is a fine and proper artistry to wielding verbal scalpels, such that the crap-poster you've slashed doesn't even know they've been cut. But verbal bludgeons -- Those are just fun. |

Not surprised, same thing with the Kadeshi and many other Soco alliances. Only out for themselves and make the top 1% rich and screw their member-base. The Kadeshi is suffering and will suffer same faith as ROL. |

Coven? They managed to fill 5-15 ships in most cases. It was their renter Inver Brass that was bringing ships. Also word is out coven made a quiet deal with HBC not to touch their POS and in return they do not have to move from Eso. Fact that main coven systems weren't touched kinda proves it. As for -A-... Why would they care if your alliance doesn't want to field ships but 70% is online and ratting?? Noob bear tears. |

after reading the OP, I just have to ask. If it was so crappy, why did the corps stay in the alliance or destroy it from within? Sounds like all you needed to do was turn against the executor corp and there wouldn't have even been much resistance. |

Why is this in C&P and not CAOD? Oh right, because the OP felt the need to alt post.
I don't see why you couldn't have posted this on your main and in the correct section. (a¦á_a¦â) ~ (my spaceblog) http://bit.ly/RB6X4C ~ (a¦á_a¦â) |

Because they were tired of getting ROFLStomped by PL, so, when PL offered them blue status, they took it. |

Hi there,
I appreciate the thought that went into this post, but this is not the right forum for it, and I can't place it in CAOD as it's been posted by an NPC character.
You're welcome to repost it on a valid character for that forum however.
As this post has attracted negativity and it's off topic, I've got no choice but to lock it, sorry.
