The purpose of G a y-Inc is to spread happiness and tolerance to far corners of the universe, be it cyber, fictional, or otherwise.
Actually, G a y-Inc is just a gathering place for g a y men playing this game, or anyone who wants to hang out with us. As a newly formed corp of one (1) active player and two (2) alts, we have no explicit goal or purpose except merely existing (though I have a strong economic bent).
We do not discriminate based on age, attractiviness, or perceived sexual orientation of your character. The corp ticker is GUYS, based at University of Caille, Osmeden System, Placid Region.

To CCP: why is the word "G-a-y" censored out on this forum and in game? Last time I heard it's not in the rank of other four-letter curse words (it's only 3 letters, for Christ's sake). Intentional or not, you guys are contributing to the continuing discrimination against homosexuals by making *** a taboo word.
If your argument is along the line of "Oh there are kids playing this game so we can't use the *** word," then please listen to the stream of curse words uttered right before someone gets podded.
It's time to throw prejudice out of the airlock.

**** yes man. Fight the censorship. If you can not handle a few bad words then you shouldnt be reading any content within this place.

Email the mods now to help you keep this thread free of flames and sillyness.
Alternatively, ask the players to keep an open mind and respect your beliefs.
Not that it's going to help, but I sense a strong possibility of trolls on the horizon.

IC (as we call him) has been a member of Dreamscape for over a year and as the CEO I just wanted to give my best recommendations.
I have trusted IC with billions of my personal assets and that trust has never been abused. So anyone that is thinking about setting up shop with IC has no need to hesitate.

I fail to see why a player should not be able to express his or her feelings or sexual preferences ingame as well as out of game - unless it were something considered illegal. Last time I checked it was not illegal to be homosexual in Iceland, perhaps other rules apply to Yulai...
I applaud IC for his openness, and hope that the mighty mods look at this case for him.
That being said, IC is a top guy - and I encourage all homosexual and openminded players who are looking for a new home to have a chat with him.

IC, you go dude! good luck with yer new corp, hope you get more positive than negative responses.
EDIT: hmm i shouldn't be surprised, but it seems the word L-e-s-b-i-a-n is censored as well.

As a heterosexual, I find G-a-y Inc. perfectly acceptible.
G-a-y Bashers Inc. would not be, and would be against the EULA.
I add my support for CCP to correct this. Deal with abuses of this word on a case-by-case basis as needed.

Its really kind of d-u-m-b that the word, especially in the context its being used, by that particular person is censored. I realize that its simply censored without regard to context but perhaps CCP should consider looking at this particular situation and reevaluating this particular word.

Parents who dont want their children exposed to certain words need to make sure they are playing "harry potter online" or something similar and not an MMO populated mostly by people who are at least chronologically adults. Take responsibility for your own kids, they are not my problem !
