Right, no reply, no evemail, no escrow. I'd love to know if this is a scam or a case of severely bad internet connection on the other side :( (been disappointed before with auctions taking a bad turn)

Don't bid on it if you think the price isn't right. The kind of people the pay 1 bil for stuff are people that know how much an item is worth and will bid accordingly. The seller doesn't need someone coming on here and trying to sabotage their auction. And that item that you are saying is a buyout for 2.5 bil is an EXTRA-LARGE not a large like the one on escrow. I myself have a Gist C-Type Large and it works excellently for NPCing. 5 Power Diag II's, the booster and 2 amps gives about 340 boost for 90 cap and it runs forever. /me out.

Did you even inspect the items? They're different items. The one for 700M on escrow is a Gist X-Type Large booster and the one here with the 2.5Bil buyout is An Extra large C-type. Although I don't think it's worth 2.5billion, I wouldn't dare post it in someone else's auction.
Sorry to clog up your auction but since it's over now (isn't it?), I didn't think you'd mind. Oh, and where did you get the booster? I hear they come from some kind of complex?

Edited by: Virtuozzo on 24/03/2005 20:31:35 In the mean time the seller from this auction seems to have gone missing, a shame really :/ Would be interesting to figure out the main character. Cheers,

Well, figured that out. As it turns out the seller was not happy with the bids and instead of doing a bump or making a comment he has let the auction die off, without even coming back to mention that he would make use of his reserved right to not accept a final bid if not within reasonable amount. Would have been polite, too bad. Reasonable buyout would also have worked. Cheers,
