When ATUK attacked Xetic it was well mannered and fun. Recently Ive gained some respect for FIX so wouldnt flame them here. BUT Imperium are basically made up of VOTF and RONA, two corps who run their mouths off constantly on forums and let Aneu post lie after lie and essentially bring it upon themselves. Where is Einheriar these days, I loved it when he used to call ATUK and joker nobody corp whilst all around him we owned his friends, good times. The game > the forum , but cramming it back down Aneu's throat makes me kinda hard So HMV consider Andy Williams and Dean Martin to be "easy listening" do they? Tell that to my mate Dave, he's been deaf for 20 years.

In ATUK I discourage the practice and so do some others, but the thing about ATUK is that we give our members a freedom to express themselves no matter which direction they choose. Some like to play the bad guys and some donÆt. ItÆs their choice and they have to live with the consequences. ItÆs only a game so who cares. In a long run, as we have seen before, smack only breads enemies. We have seen it with CFS, DMSA, FIX just to name a few. When you act like an Asshat, you attract attention. Now that said, ATUK welcomes hostilities and therefore some encourage the practice in order to attract more targets. However, it also hurts the corp. in a long run of players that would like to join, but develop dislike of how some of the members behave and steer clear. Only time will tell whether the smack will hurt or help ATUK, but letÆs not fool our selves. EVERY corp. has some that smack talk, unless you are oppressed and CANÆT express yourselves, in which case you create alts. We choose the freedom of expression and we are willing to pay the price. Others do not and thatÆs their right, but thatÆs the difference between ATUK and other corps. Is that no matter how much I dislike it, I will not force people to obey. No fines, no warnings. They did a good job keeping their fleet intact. Our little bubbles were the demise, not to mention that bout half the fleet crashed. Oh and yes, we were terribly outnumbered in the first two encounters. You had more tacklers in your fleet than we had total ships in our whole fleet. I seem to remember when we evened things out in Yulai, your fleet dissapeared of the radar. Tis ok, no need to point fingers, no need to flame, lets have at this war and have some fun.

The problem with the smacktalk is that many of the players are very very young and many do not have very good social skills...so smacktalk is to be expected if the leadership doesn't put controls on it. In real life these children would be placed in the corner and told to smarten up...here in Eve they are encouraged to gank, talk tough and act like a big man when in fact they like ear rings, Boy George and thongs... The above comment does not apply to any one particular Corp, but rather to many corps with an in your face attitudes - mainly the pvp corps. It is unfort part of the game and will continue unless CCP intrudes...which no one wants. Peeps have to realize it is just a game..nothing more and it is supposed to be fun. Love to put some of these smacktalkers up in one of my Squadron's real military aircraft and watch them wet their pants. Point to make...real men do not smacktalk...only children and little ones who do not know any better. If it happens twice, it's the leaders fault...if there is one. rant over. Fly safe and have fun. Give props to the ppl that deserve it and enjoy the game. As i said in my First ever thread post, I had fun last night chasing an ATUK member around PF. He was in a caldari inty and I was in my Merlin. We came very close to actually locking and fighting. Even tho we didnt, It was great fun. I hope that we, as in EVERYONE, can have more fun like that.
