Ok, i recently relocated to australia for an extended period of time. And no longer have a credit card. Firstly, is it possible to buy GameTime cards from stores , and not just from the internet? Secondly, does anyone know any retailers in Austrailia (preferably sydney) that sells them?
If the answer is no, then does Paybycash still work? i remember there being some problems with paying via that method some time back and never found out if it was resolved.

other option i use get a visa debit card (national, bendigo and commonwealth bank have em) you need to keep $300 in the account for a fortnight to activate you can pay youre wage into it and use it to pay for eve online like a normal credit card

Thanks, i will look into it, i am guessin thats different to your normal credit card, which they seem reluctant to give me because i am not an Australian citizen.

debit card is where youre savings (wages etc) go into it and you can use it as an EFTPOS card but if you make purchases instead of being credit it comes straight out of youre wage
It was brought out mainly so people could make internet purchases etc without the need for a credit card - as not being an aussie citizen you should still be ok i think

I haven't found anywhere in Australia where you can buy the timecards from. You would think EB etc. would stock them, but they don't. The software distrubtor we use at work (All Interactive) does not even have them listed and they are reasonably big.
There was a feature on the site here to buy EVE Time Codes for other people. But it seems to have gone (was in the My Account section > Account Services).
It is a shame you can't buy them in Australia, cause I know plenty of people would snap them up.
Perhaps ask around in the ANZAC channel if anyone have seen them on a retailer's shelf.

thanks for the replies guys, i will ask in anzac later tonight when i get back from work. In terms of the game time cards, when you buy them does it give you a code on screen which you use to increase your game time? or does it phsyically send a card which has the code on? I am thinking i may be able to get someone at work to purchase a card for me if i give em the cash, but would definatly prefer it if you get the code on screen directly as apposed to having to wait for it to be posted. Once again, i really appreciate the help you guys are giving. Thanks Mike

When you buy the "Eve Time Code" from under the "My Account" menu, it gives you the code on the screen, but if you purchase a "Eve Time Card" from the Eve store, they will mail it to you.
Hope this helps!

If you have a PayPal account, even a US based one, you can pay by the PayByCash option.
