As the topic says. I have a fair number of agents with the 8k LPs or so the BS chips are rumored to require, but no sight of the offers so far (Looking for Amarr in this case). Can anyone confirm the cost, and what the corporation involved was?

People don't seem to want to talk about this subject, I've asked the same question here, in the missions channel and of people selling them. I'd like to know as well.

Looks like there's one entry in the offers database at that price, at least. Seeing as how I haven't managed to get the 500k ship offer after 3 weeks of waiting (and daily Navy Tach offer spam), I wouldn't be surprised if I'm just plain unlucky with it. Back to the grind then.

That would be a key, not a nexus chip, although they look the same. Nexus chips are from agent LP offers.
edit: if he did find one in a complex, I'd love to know which one, but I think we'd be seeing more if this was the case.

I got 3 of them from Lvl2 agents ( and I am waitng for more. They sells very well). Cost is 2000 LP per chip. I never got a chip offer from the lvl3 or lvl4 agents though.

Sorry but the 2k LP one is for the frigate (I got one^^), the other for cruiser is 8k LP I think and is called Beta Nexus Chip, and I don't have it.

I just got a caldari chip for a navy cruiser from my lvl 3 agent...for 2k lp. is this thing worth much? i don't ever see myself using it to build a caldari navy cruiser, so i am just curious.
i see the thing on the market selling for 40-60 mill, buyers at 2 mill, so what is it really worth?

A chip is worth what people will pay for it.
With the random offers, you can't farm these so they will stay relatively high.
IMO, currently...
A frigate chip would be worth ~20-40 m
A cruiser chip would be worth ~40 - 80m
A BS chip would be worth ~150m - 300m
This changes depending on the type of ship but it isn't stabilised how often these are dropping.
Give it a month and the price will stabilise... seems to be the way of things in eve :)

I paid 200m for my Amarr BS nexus chip and got the bpc offer that required tags I ended up getting that. and sold my chip for 300m :)

8k LP kaalakotia (sp?) corporation for the caldari bs nexus chip - dunno about number of LP for the frig/cruiser variants.
AFAIK any manufacturing corp should give them out, but I don't know for sure.
