Black Ice Protectorate is looking to recruit active players interested in exploring wormholes. The Imperial Senate is an alliance with a well-established wormhole system and skilled veterans in both EU and US prime-times, and Black Ice is seeking to recruit pilots in US Timezones.
Black Ice is looking to bring a strong armor-fleet element to wormhole space, but shield-focused pilots may be welcomed as well. PvP experience is highly preferred, as is skill with Logistics.
We value strong, personal relationships with each of our pilots. For the most part, we are laid-back and easy going, and above all are simply looking to have fun. Voice comms (via TS3) are almost a necessity to maintaining our strong relationships as well as fleet cohesion and response time. Black Ice does its best to maintain a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and above all else is playing to have fun.
Being based in wormhole space, pilots welcomed into our wormhole should also have some industry skill to help maintain production, but this is not required. Salvagers, Miners, and Research/Industry characters are welcome additions.
Players unfamiliar with wormhole exploration and life will be trained on the many aspects thereof, as well as the various security and intelligence procedures to help keep everyone safe and operations running smoothly. The basics of PvP operations and command structures, as well as logistics pilot training, are further incentives that we offer.
Black Ice has historically run incursions as well. However, due to a lack of active empire-side pilots, and due to the drop of Vanguard incursion income, empire-side operations have been put on hold indefinitely.
Be advised that pilots applying require a minimum of 15 million SP for wormhole access. Those with less are welcome to apply, and empire-side operations will resume if there are enough low-SP players in training to engage in training operations.
