....So we are not allowed a search function for the forums because its too "difficult" to implement......or whatever..... 
Then how about giving us the option to see more than the last 20 posts? you know like the option to see the last 10,20,50,100 or whatever?

No, there is no search function because search functions use a lot of processing power and it's simpler to keep the forum server as it is. If a search functio were implemented, the server could be taken down by too many people searching at once.

yeah... was nice of Josh 'n all (I do use it) but its still a round about way of doing things and not what I was asking ty.

It's too difficult to implement because the forums are tied to the main game server, and use the same internet connection as the eve server.
The fact that it's tied to the eve server in programming is the reason why it's more difficult to put into the forum code.
If they did put it in, the CPU load on the main game server clusters would rise a lot, causing much more lag in game, and increased server unreliability.
However, having a link to the google method of searching put into the forum somewhere would be a good idea.

CCP is still trying to make a search function but it takes w hile because it is diffecult to make. This is something different then saying that the public is not allowed to have a search function.
