downtime is tied to GMT which is always the same, The UK is now on BST but in order not to confuse the rest of the world the time when downtime is held does not change.

Cha-ching, give this lady a cookie. Eve operates on Eve Standard Time which is GMT without the daylight savings. In effect, Eve uses GMT while places like the UK switch to BST during the summer. I believe it's because Iceland does not have Daylight Savings and thus operates at GMT all year round. Is that correct?

Weird...I wonder if something's wrong? Perhaps their software isn't calibrated for the Daylight Savings Time?

Last time the server didn't get rebooted, it went unstable by 4 PM. --------
FireFoxx80: If you think you can do a better job, go find yourself a datacentre to host a box, get a copy of Visual Studio, and STFU. |

Not sure if you were aware but it has already been down for about 2 hours this morning. Seems the problem hasn't been resolved just yet.....
If you were, apologies for rambling

I prefer the explanation I was once given. That time travel is illegal in Iceland. Other than that I think you're right.
