"While you're at it" is just an idiom that means doing something else at the same time as the thing you were originally doing. I could say "Hey, go put some gas in the car, and while you're at it, go get some milk.". Two things that can be done at the same time. That doesn't necessarily imply the same feelings between the two. I can be very fond of drinking milk, but not fond of putting gas in the car.
