Hi CCP,
The sudden patch announcement caught everyone by surprised. As much as we know that it's intended to be that way, without giving advance notices (like a week or a couple of days) , it shows that you're heavily bias towards the Minmatar militia (Hans or Goons influences from the looks of it) as they are the only ones who can "cash out" with this announcement.
Yes, we understand that the system is "broken". However, all we ask is for it to be extended by a week so that we can try to "cash out". We'll be up against the Minmatar/Gallente's/Pirate's who knows we have no choice but to flip the systems in order to cash out. There's a high chance that we will fail and then we have no one else to blame but ourselves.
By doing a sudden announcement like this without even a notice is seriously unfair and shows that meta gaming is all the rage.
We hope you can seriously consider this petition and at least be fair towards all party. I've no doubt that during this period the other 3 Factions (Amarr, Gallente, Caldari) will be trying their best to cash out. If any party fails, at least it's our own fault and we won't feel like being treated as a second class citizen in the game.

The system has been broken since last expansion, if you didn't plan for the possibility that CCP would 'adjust' stuff at j.random DT, then your ability to plan ahead is seriously broken.

I have a made a "few billion" off the broken FW rules, ofc. But nowhere, nowhere near what a decent or decripite farmer could make. Farmers exist in every game out there, fact, especially MMO's. They simply do. Nothing you do in any game with a loot mechanic will never ever stop them - ever - not now, not with this EVUH, feel me?.
The hard-core farmers will simply create two accounts now, or reshift their iskie efforts with the two accounts (or more) they already have, you aren't plugging anything here CCP.
What you are doing though CCP is directly -from a FW rules standpoint- completely unfair to the Caldari FW players that were already simply working within your broken rules. Which we didn't break - that YOU created. And "ninja'ing" these changes underscores what a lousy system you "fixed/broke" and just how unconcerned you are with the people that play within the rules. IE, Goonswarm ********* with CCP alts. There.
No CCP, you broke the FW and now you punish again, and again, as you did the first time you broke them, rinse wash and repeat.
Let me be very clear. Why is that everytime there is a FW change involving system control it falls when Caldari have the fewest and Gallente have the most? Coincidence? At this point, hardly...
You knew what we (Caldari) were planning CCP. Another dump, Dec 1. Boo-hoo. But you punish US for YOUR failure? Sorry you broke the rules kiddos, breaks. Now we pay for it? As an entire 9000 player faction? WOW.

I dunno, seems to be popular to say we are fail, and then create rules that hose us. This is history, not tears. This is Caldari's sad legacy, indeed. We get to be CCP's FW whipping boy AGAIN.
This is the kind of thing that makes you understand exactly how biased and completely slanted, unforgiving and frankly RUDE CCP is regarding FW and ultimately, the player base in general.
Yet another move guised as a fix, but in reality just a hose for those playing within the rules that CCP made, broke and otherwise didn't completey think through.
They simply don't care who, or how many players their "fixes" affect.
Reset the systems? Why not... but no CCP, let's make it as unbalanced as possible.
Tears? I'm space rich. IDK. But ultimately this shows the bias and irony that is FW.

The announcement wasn't sudden at all, you just haven't been paying attention. If you were so concerned about cashing out, you'd have joined minmatar a long time ago.

As we now know the lp from faction warfare isn't worth the pixels it's written in however I do like this petition due to the amount of possiable fighting/ dread kills this will produce for our kill board.

Farmer tears are indeed delicious. I am amarr FW though my corp is currently neutral and I support this surprise change. It is long over due and giving more warning would only allow the farmers more time to cash in thus further crashing the LP market and driving up PLEX prices further. Surprise was the way to do it. That said it does throw a wrench in my corp's plans. We had been planning to spend the next couple of months farming in w-space to build up some isk for the push after the changes. Now we find ourselves neutral and having to crash back to the wz to assist however we can. But still, I prefer it this way than giving the minnie farmer hordes a weeks notice.
