Ive noticed in most regions this stuff isnt really traded - well im going to try my best to affect regional market volumes (and hopefully make a profit) for the next week in holoreels, carbon and silicon - keep an eye on regional charts for my impacts lol - seems im one of very few engaging in actual trading of consumer and industrial goods

Most commidity traders don't like to say much and stick to their own patches as they'd end up with loads of people trying to muscle them out . . well, that was pre-exodus of/c. 
Myself, I managed to soak up demand for a certain trade good in 4 buying regions (out of 5) pre-exodus with sell orders at the NPC price and a further 2 trade goods in 2 regions.
Tbh, now it's not quite as much worth it due to the lvl 4 missions, but I still keep my hand in buying some trade goods, especially those used for POS.
/me eyes his stacks of millions of units of reports, datasheets, consumer goods, oxygen and thinks he really should get around to sell them.
However, good luck in trading those commodities, unless you're in my neck of the woods in which case, keep out. 
)

Hauling between NPC corps picked up a lot after Exodus when the potential profits doubled on a lot of goods.
You had noticed the 'Past History' data is bugged hadn't you? Don't believe anything you see on those graphs
There are quite a few goods traders out there, but not enough to cause serious competition as yet.

I made quite a few ISK a while ago selling silicon/silicate glass. You can find stations in the same system that buy silicon and sell silicate glass cheap and vice versa.
