Is there a way i can see what kind of minerals come out of a component before i refine it.
Exp my agent offers me some tesseracts can i then look up how many trit ,pye or maybe zyd and mega are in that item??

Some items will be build from minerals and that you can find in the eve item database

Yeah i found that but it doesnt state what minerals it is made from

its tech 2 it is not made of common minerals. You cant refine the items you get from refining that stuff you get from the mission. Tried it but I cant

Yes, instead of right-clicking and choosing "refine"... use the button in the station to reprocess, then highlight one or more items, and then click on reprocess.
This will bring up a little window showing how much of each matierial you will get with your skills and how much the station keeps.
You do not have to refine at that point; in fact if it shows like 0 for Zyd or Mega, then wait until you get more of the item(s) and you may get that material out of the items when reprocessed "in quantity."
It may not work with some items (i have no idea what "tesseracts" are  )

Before refining t2 comps make sure you check the market to see what they are being bought for. Many of the items can fetch a decent price. My guess is that they will be a bit more valuable after the next patch as well since the comps themselves will not be dropping anymore.
