Do you remember all those times when you used to flail widely around with your camera because the object you selected in the overview was nowhere to be found ? They're gone soon.

Couldn't you just right click the object in your overview and click set as interest so you camera stays trained on it (might need advanced camera options enabled)? |

The advanced camera menu is cool and is definitely of use when making video's, but is a decidedly bad idea when in combat. It is very easy to get more or less stuck in a view that is either disorienting or at least non-helpful to the situation you are in.
That being said a simply button to click to have the camera always look in the direction of whatever is highlighted on your overview from you ship would work nicely to help keep you oriented in combat... as long as it doesn't zoom you in or anything funky when you use it.
To carve a successful niche for yourself in EVE you need to be able to out sell, out produce, out fight,-á out run, or out wit your competitors.
If you can do none of the above, your only option is to complain on the forums that somehow you are at a disadvantage using the exact same tool set-áas the rest of the player base. |
