Put a mamoth bp in the factory. Ordered it to be produced. Was told I did not have enough megacite. The bp needed 8.8 and I had 9!! That was bad enough. But the friggin bloody factory did not give back my bp. Where the bloody hell is my flippin bp?!?!?!?
The more this game gets 'fixed' the more levels of frustration there are being added. I'm approaching my point of no fun. Stellar Products and Quality Resources ticker: SPQR established 6-03

I seem to remember that blueprints show you the amount of minerals needed in a perfect world - maxed out skills in Production Efficiency, Frigate/Cruiser Construction (or similar), etc.
The reality in minerals that you need will be different, AFAIK (hence covering why you needed more minerals than you thought!) --

Does not explain why I don't get the bleedin bp back.
And as for the unrent then rerent fix. I have to pay a rent to get the flippin thing back?!?!? Stellar Products and Quality Resources ticker: SPQR established 6-03

Please calm down.
Currently the workaround for this bug is the unrent/rent trick.
IMO, paying for the slot again is alot better than losing a BP like that. The slot is unusable until you get the BP out anyway. --------------------

The slot isn't unusable--I had this happen to me and I didn't want to unrent/rent it (it was just an ammo BP copy, and spending an extra 100k or more isn't worth it). So I thought maybe if I put something else there it will eject it. I started a production run on different kind of ammo. That run worked, but unfortunately I didn't get the 1st copy back like I hoped.
Oh well, plenty more copies where that one came from. Maybe it will eject at the next downtime....

Elereth. Point is, why do I need to pay hard earned, time consuming isk to get back something that is mine in the first place? What logic do you use to make this seem reasonable or 'ok'. Fix the bloody bug and give me my isk back.

Reading between the lines it is more than likely the bug is already being worked on. The work around you have been given means simply that you get your BP back sooner.
Much like I say at work, there is no magic switch that fixes all... --

Elereth, that is a very poor response.
My Moa bp stuck for the very same reason. It is difficult to remember all the amount differences on the BP's since the amounts listed are only vaguely the actual amount needed in any typical case. We were short a few minerals. We did not get out bp back. I did not feel like figuring out which slot we had used, or paying the outlandish rental fee on each one to rediscover it, if that was the solution. The problem is the Blueprints need to be updated with actual unmodified requirements, the manufacturing process needs to be corrected to return the blueprint in this scenerio. I have no complaint on customer service in my case, as I got prompt assistance to recover it.
