Hello everyone. My Laptop got 2 videocards, one is a crap videocard for normal/office usage (Intel 4000), while the other is meant for playing (GTX670M)
I have the GTX670 as the default video card for EVE, but when checking the settings in the eve menu, i can only see the Intel 4000 in the 'display adapter' menu, so i suppose that eve is running on that one, the crappy one :\ This happens even if i right click on eve.exe and then click on 'run with... GTX670' How can that be? What can i do?
All other games are working fine. Thanks in advance Best regards. |

Easiest way would be to disable the onboard VGA chip in the BIOS. (Press F1/F2/Del during boot, depending on your motherboard.) |

Can be done using the Display Options (Nvidia Options I think) menu in Windows. Link to a guide (is about Steam, but should work for any game depending on the .exe file you choose);

It's automatic. You obviously have nVidia Optimus. That means the game sees the integrated GFX, but the pipeline is actually shared by both cards and the switching is done automatically when the need arises. |
