Hi guys, Sorry for the noob question, but can I manage my character when not in game? My training will be over soon, and I would like to be able to chose something else to train while I am at work. Can this be done?
Thx

But if CCP wasn't so lazy, you WOULD be able to...along with accessing EVEmail. ___________________________________________ ^^^***---All things serve the Beam---***^^^ |

No, they have this weird idea that people should actually login and play their game. Pretty stupid, isn't it?

You should be able to change skills and even check eve-mail out of game.......there are any number of scenarios where you cant log in to the game but may need/want to change skills or check your mail. And as for the comment about logging in to play...ccp would get their monthly fee either way dude, it would just be a convenience thing for us the customers.

If you could initialise training etc offline then would it not make it easier for people to cheat? :) -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

plus what if somone logs of at a gate that is then camped for the next 10 hours and he needs to change a skill during that time he should have to risk logging on to change it.

They aren't going to do it. EVER. They've said that dozens of times.
Players don't get everything they want. If they did, the game would quickly get boring.

Most RPGs don't even let you earn EXP while you are _not_ playing them. Just set long skills when you are not home and train short ones in small parts while you are home. --Missa New Siggy to Come Soon(tm) |

Isn't there the EVE character manager that allows you to select skills and read mail offline? "Hobbes, she stepped into the Perimter Of Wisdom.Run!" |
