Speaking as a player who owns 2 titans and is currently building several more titan hulls for others... this result cannot come soon enough. Now bring us increased aggro times for supercaps, a gun tracking nerf, a drone bay nerf, a supercarrier EHP nerf and I'll be happy.
Some people need to stop hiding behind their wallet and learn some teamwork. |

1. Should be fixed for general shield tanking, not just for the benefit of supercaps.
2. Yes there is. If you compare equal meta level shield gear to armour gear, you find that shield tankers come out with the same EHP levels due to active omni tank modules (invulns). The root cause is not that armour tankers get extra HP from slave sets, the issue is that their high-meta level armour gear is spawned more and in less demand than high-meta shield gear. Blame the empire missionfags paying billions to pimp out their CNR's for this one. Deadspace invulns wouldn't hurt though.
3. As above, at equal meta levels shield is on par with armour. The key difference is that armour gets more EHP from raw HP levels while shield gets it from resists, making it more efficient to remote rep. Shield also regenerates on its own. This can negate several thousand dps alone, so if your Leviathan takes 10mins to destroy imagine how much damage the innate passive tank is absorbing in that time. |
