I just tried to unfit a loaded gun from my ship on the fitting screen and a messega popped up:
You cannot remove a module while it is still loaded with charges.
I can only manually unfit the loaded gun by moving it manually to my hangar.
Tell me this wont go into the next patch. Tell me this is a joke. This is absolute a wrong change to say it friendly!
Btw, this was not mentioned in the patch notes for the new patch. KIERON!!!

Um, but this is just being lazy. Just unload the ammo from the gun. There, it takes a whole 3 seconds. Sure, it shouldn't be put in, but it isn't the end of the world if it does...

It's poor GUI for the user.
It's not user-friendly.
Something CCP are very good at, being user unfriendly

Why does the GUI continue to get worse and worse?
Hangars are messy because now you have to do that stupid sort thing, you can't right click > fit to ship from mods inside cans anymore, and now this ****.

Allay your fears and worries.
This was a temporary measure I put in and was going to leave in because of a comprehensive change to how ammo works internally (should reduce DB load from ammo use almost totally). But a couple of the in-house QA staff mentioned that it was too annoying - so it has been fixed and works much much much better than it did before [1].
[1] May not actually work better than it did before but actually kind of the same.
