Yay, new people~~~ It was one of the biggest turn out back in October, and we're doing it again...again.
What: This is the formal announcement for Toronto EVE Online player meet up for the month of October, 2012.
Where:
The OverDraught Irish Pub:Link
156 Front Street West, Toronto, ON
Northwest of Toronto Union Station, west of University Ave and Front St, below the Joe Badali's Ristorante.
When:
November 17th, 2012 @ 8:30PM (We are holding it a little early for November and December due to the holidays at the end of the year to keep up with static scheduling).
Why:
Meet your fellow Torontonian EVE players and talk about EVE, and other things that aren't related to EVE. Also speak to your enemies in EVE about your wars and stuff. We had PL, TEST, and Goons all in one room. No one exploded.
Please ask for 'Toronto EVE Online' when you are at the venue.
Lastly, please join us at the in-game channel 'Toronto EVE Online' if you haven't already.

GO bus and train permitting, I plan on making it to this event. Might see if I can co-ordinate with a fellow Hamiltonian for a ride back to my hometown. |

26 Players this time. Great showing!
I missed a few people who left early (arriving late myself)
5 Players plus myself stayed until closing time. 
The goon contingent was nice, in person.
One thing to note. It is important to tip our wait staff. They are required to share a percentage of their total sales to the kichen crew, bus staff and bartender. If you do not tip, they still pay to their co-workers.
Thanks to the hero who chipped in to cover those who did not tip.
They like us there. Let's not wear our our welcome.
Over all, great meetup!

I would like to thank everyone who showed up last night. It was one of our biggest, if not the biggest in the history of this group, turn out ever!
And I ditto what Talus said. One of key reasons why we picked The OverDraught is because of the awesome wait staff present at the venue. They deserve our thanks, and our tip money, and then some. Not to mention we only had one waitress taking care of us; all 26 of us.
We will have another one in December, but be advised that we'll have it on a Friday this time. So possibly on the 15th of December.
Until then, fly safe o/ |
