Personally I class log on/off tactics right down there with the trash alongside "lame-ass out-of-game-tactic spys". Surely btw, said spy must be an "ingame" spy too, or how else would he read whatever that message was? Unless Xetic pilots are up to hacking into enemy alliances webbies these days?

Quote: Xetic did not "follow" Supremacy after they left Curse in a "feutile" attempt to "hamper" your operations. Get your facts straight, Xetic were approached by JQA and their aid was REQUESTED in Syndicate. If you're going to post crap leave the "you're stupidity" insults out.
Yes that was an interesting turn of events. I was heavily involved in the battle for JQA, yet have very little, if any, menory of a XF ship...
IMHO Xetic saw the JQV war as a means to avenge themselves for the slaughter that was the first XF/SUPRM war. Unfortunately things did not go your way and a repeat of events looked likely, so you turned tail and ran, despite the fact that:
Quote: Xetic were approached by JQA and their aid was REQUESTED in Syndicate.
I would indeed say you "followed" us to JQV.
Since this topic seems to be slanted towards the theme of betrayal, does not effectively rejecting a call for help count as a disloyal act?
I put it to XF directly:

You obviously weren't paying attention Jhodas, in two of the large fleet gatherings Xetic were present, once was when a very poorly co-ordinated attack took place in which 3FA and Xetic fleets both got spanked by the Supremacy fleet due to mis-timed jump ins. The other was when Norad and FA both brought fleets down as well to VV-VCR and Supremacy decided not to come out to play.
Once again Xetic did not come to Supremacy to "follow you", they came to aid JQA, weather it had been you or some other entity invading syndicate they would still have come.

Several times during your invasion of syndicate your entire fleet would log off for sometimes several hours then all appear within the same minute to gain a tactical advantage over the JQA+Allies fleet.

We only ever logged off a few systems away to reorganise, never logged off to save a ship or anything like that. You're just bringing unrealated crap up to troll, there's nothing wrong with logging off a few systems away to come back later. And coming from Xetic that's rich, what about your logon/logoff merchants in Blind Vengeance corp? You're holyer than us attitude don't wash. -----------------

Xetic were admitedly involved in more than two incidents during the war, although not at any time were they particulary effective. Perhaps you are just refering to the two incidents in which you yourself flew with xetic? heh.
Quote: Once again Xetic did not come to Supremacy to "follow you", they came to aid JQA, weather it had been you or some other entity invading syndicate they would still have come.
Forget the 'ins' and 'outs' of it for a momment, Supremacy leaves curse, supremacy goes to syndicate, xetic comes to syndicate. Sugar coat it all you want, the fact of the matter is Xetic canceled a nap with supremacy and came galavanting across the universe trying to interfere with our buisness. Regardless of their motives they still did exactly that, interfer. Which brings me back to my origional point, that is the very reason they are in this situation now with Supremacy and her allies,Bad Blood
I apologise for calling the CYVOK bloke stupid, it was never my intention to question you're intelligence, merley the merit of you're motives.
Fact remains, no one has said anything truly yet and while plots and speculation are swimming around all of eve i just wonder if XETIC by unearthing this little piece of intel so early has shot themselves in the foot.
Anyways all i got to say on the matter, for now atleast.

Originally by: AvanCade The here called "Cursed Nation" are all honorable corporations. I do not believe one of them will be attacking people with good standings. Xetic has good standings, so do other alliances and corporations. I just know we will honor those standings.
That's cleverly worded actually, AvanCade. I have no grounds to dispute what you're saying, but it's still hard not to see those standings being changed to "something other than good" in the future, in which case of course you're free to attack.

I was there too - Xetic were definitely there for the New Year VV battles, not so much for the latter territorial campaign that JQA ultimately lost.
Originally by: Jhodas IMHO Xetic saw the JQV war as a means to avenge themselves for the slaughter that was the first XF/SUPRM war.
Fact: Xetic weren't *that* obsessed with you. Angelus is right - they simply responded to an aid request from a friend, and would have done so regardless of who the enemy was, because that's what friends do.
Why do I know this? Because I was one of the people who asked.

That war lasted a good 3 weeks. By your own admission, Xetic were present for two fleet battles. In 3 weeks. Pretty poor turnout IMHO. My friend the reverend credits you with a greater presence but i disagree.
Originally by: Angelus X The other was when Norad and FA both brought fleets down as well to VV-VCR and Supremacy decided not to come out to play.
Outnumbered 8-1, what would be the smart thing to do? "Hmm, i think i'll lose a BS or 2 today." </sarcasm>
Originally by: Angelus X Once again Xetic did not come to Supremacy to "follow you", they came to aid JQA, weather it had been you or some other entity invading syndicate they would still have come.
Perhaps. In truth we will never know.
Originally by: Ben Derindar Fact: Xetic weren't *that* obsessed with you.
Granted.
It saddens me somewhat that SUPRM and Xetic have been and will be longtime enemies, combined we could be the ultimate force in the eve universe. However it is not to be.
This is all I have to say on the matter at this time.
I implore everyone to express their feelings on the battlefield.

My understanding of that NAP was that it was very much a temporary arrangement whilst the ex-CA corps were moving out of the south, and that it applied to that area only?
Regardless, if Xetic had truly intended to break the NAP, they could have done it much more effectively from their perspective if they'd just attacked sooner, while you were still in the process of moving out.
No, instead, they held their end of the bargain, and would not have even shown up at all had JQA not asked them to. With all the ex-CA numbers I was seeing in Syndicate at the time, it certainly seemed to me that you were no longer in the south, and so the NAP no longer applied.
Originally by: Maasu Which brings me back to my origional point, that is the very reason they are in this situation now with Supremacy and her allies,Bad Blood
But there is no such situation - Xetic have +10 standings, right?

Nobody has, as far as I know, attacked anyone. Yet.
XETIC is not in the habit of breaking NAPs. We will be prepared (honor only goes so far), but we will not be the ones to break our word. ------------------------------------------- "My main griveance with the Caldari state was that once I had finished my work for them, they wanted me dead."
