JimmySav knew that Noob Scriptor, CEO and glorious leader of Arcane Technologies wasn't referring, like the millions of EVE's citizens might have assumed, to the leading brand of Amarrian slaver hound food of the same name, but to the powerful and charismatic Admiral of Shinra Corporation, as many of the galaxies elite pod pilots would have realised.

Those three words sparked a glut of communications from ATUK's home in Central Curse, PO4f. Communiques were issued, messages were sent, conferences were convened.

Times had moved on since the glorious and crushing victory of ATUK and the coalition of the willing over the corrupt reign of the Dark Lord, Xirtam and his overstretched and morally bankrupt Curse Alliance.

No Weapons of Mass Disruption had been found, but the pressure exerted by the combined forces of ATUK, Stain Empire, and the Xetic Trade Federation had forced the CA to collapse from the inside like a house of cards.

Since then Fountain Alliance and Firmus Ixion had faced scores of new ATUK pilots in training maneouvres and the craven G Alliance had declared war, only to retract it when they realised what had been asked of their pilots. Arcane Industries still resisted the tort(ure) law of ATUK lawyers, and their Jovian Lag technology had prevented punitive damages deciding the issue.

Still, the new times called for new measures. Combat requirements and the rapidly improving defence status of corporation owned structures meant force pools had to be ever larger. A new coalition was need for a new time. No need for the vain and pointless strictures of what Concorde would call an "Alliance".
What was needed was power, and above all, lots of guns.

JimmySav, both friend and sometime enemy of Chowdown was swift to establish contact, and the basis of the future began to emerge. Shinra and ATUK would co-operate mutually in these new times. Tholarin, another of ATUKs pilots close to Supremacy Corp brought them on board. Things were going well and the number of guns were growing. Something was missing however, something important.

"I have it!" shouted Stizim Hilidi, callsign 'Stan', another ATUK warrior, and legendary galactic crooner.
"We need something with Black in it!"
All around the long conference table diplomats and pilots nodded sagely, and to prevent a brief impromptu concert from 'Stan', rapidly inserted 100ISK coins into their mobile 'Pay As U Warp' communication devices.
Before their credit had run low yet again, Black Reign Corporation and Black Omega Security were onboard.

JimmySav tapped in the co-ordinates of the AGIL meeting place into his ships computer, and opened a secure channel to report the achievement of this new cartel of five corporations to Scriptor.
An awesome fleet began to form. Over 200 Battleships gleamed in the sunlight. The future had arrived.

Jimmy was proud of his achievements, and knew the CEO would be happy.....

"So did you get my dogfood? The slave hound is bloody starving?"
