I do them in a ferox, it's tough sometimes but not too bad.
my fittings: Hi: 5x "malkuth" heavy missile 2x dual 150mm "scout" medium hybrid turret med: 1x 10mn AB 1x large "C5-L emergency overload" shield booster 1x "stalwart" shield boost amplifier 1x large shield extender 1 1x cap recharger 1 Low: 3x power diagnostic system 1 1x nanomechanical co-processor

My thoughts: - T2 AB (not that expensive and very usefull) - Drop the extender & cap recharger, and put 2 shield hardners (active) i think thermal and kin, not sure atm. - Also that should guive space for 2x250mm instead of the 150's, and swap the cpu for a ballistic control or overdrive (speed gain might be important for "keep at range")
just my 2 cents ;)
Edit: you should really check the "Ships and Modules" Forum, Ship setups, there's a lot of usefull setups and info there.
in short, get the best setup for it and you should do it without *too much* trouble.

I did this once with a fairly bad fitting on a friends character. It was quite easy. I jumped into the bonus gate and killed off all the cruisers and frigs and enganged the BS (this with 5 warp outs). After 20 minutes and his shields down to 50% I noticed that his recharge rate had begun to beat me damage. I left with the satisfaction that a the ferox could tank that raven forever, and the dissapointment that the raven could also tank me. |

I did this one once in a shield tanked ferox, and it wasn't difficult at all. The same deadspace rules apply: Only go aggro on one ship first, and then only attack the ships that aggro you in return. I used a combination of 5 medium rails and 2 heavy launchers, and it worked out very well. I ran out of time so I didn't do the bonus level, so I'll have to try that again someday.

5xLimos heavys 2x250mm protos Name large shield booster (CL-5) 2 named kinetic hardeners 2 named thremal hardeners 2xpdu coprocessor ballisitc control sys.
Give it a try it works gret for me. i wouldnt waste any cpu on an AB, your not going to be out running anything in a ferrox with a tanked setup.
EDIT: Admins, i tried to post this on my new account that does not feature a rude name, i selected the correct poster and it posted under this old name from my trial account. Please feel free either delete this post or change to to my other (main) character. Sorry for any inconvinience caused.

I passive tank my ferox as follows: highs: 3x malkuth, 2x x-3200 heavy launchers, 2x 125mm rail mids: 2x large shield extenders, shield recharger, kin and thermal hardner. low: ballistic control, 2x shield power relay.
thats about it. It tanks 5-6 rat cruisers easily without taking any cap. I havent tested it vs BS's much but it can take multiple cruise missile hits easily.

at BC L4, This works fine for me. I get 34k opt w/plutonium which fits my habits nicely (41km w/uranium, 27k opt w/am)
High:
4x 250mm (3x proto/1x coil) w/plutonium 3x named heavy launchers (scourge)
Mids 1x kinetic 50% 1x thermal 50% 1x T2 10mn AB 1x shield amp (or cap recharger) 1x T2 Med Shield Booster
1x T2 damage mod 1x T2 tracking enhancer 1x Cap Relay 1x Basic Cap Flux (crazy but it works w/my skills, -or PDU if cant bare the thought)
5x Vespa
use 2x kinetic and a rocket w/defenders on manual to kill the raven. AM in the guns, orbit at 30km. takes 2.5 reloads of the guns to kill the raven.
or you can have some real fun and do it in a celestis :) (not the raven tho)

Yeah, its easy with a ferox. My setup (as best i can remember) High:5xhvy launchers, 2xion blaster Med:Kin and Therm active hardners, shield extender, shield recharger and AB Low:2xBalistic control and 2x t2 power diagnostic units.
I've taken the raven in the bonus stage, too forever, but i got it. I had to warp out like 5 time also while takeing the cruiser and frigs down, and i switched to 2x therm hardners. But then my shields didn't drop below 50%.
