My first podding was from a m0o member, i think i had been in the game about a week or 2 went into an 0.4 system (think it was one of the early missions that sent me there) and saw all these guys at the gate. Didn't really understand what was going on as i was targetted shot and after losing my ship thinking wow whats going on then my pod went pop lol.
Things were alot harsher back then and m0o definatly pushed the boundaries with gate camps full of ships with nothing but damage mods in the lows as there were no stacking penalties back then, and battleships insta popped just about anything large or small. |

yeah it started out with m0o wreaking havoc and all that good stuff.
I also remember the Curse Alliance and C4 alliance. who where hated more than the goons are now. |

I just figured that there must have been a massive inflation in Eve...if he hadn't played for many years, he will most likely think that 500M are an insane amount of money and will thus be tempted to come back.
Please don't tell him that it's just the cost of 2 fully t2 fit Battleships nowadays.

I think you're right about the inflation though. My suspicion is that if you had 50M back then you were considered extremely wealthy.

I'm not sure about them having any inside info. Perhaps one to ask if he does an AMA. But I think they were just good at experimenting and working together. |

They weren't. They got "stomped down" months after Mara-Passari happened - ISTR that it was camping Yulai that got CCPs attention for Zombies.
I remember fighting Zombies (Trinitron) when I was in RKK along with Naginata/Black Hand Guerillas (Miso, J0sephine etc) months before all that. Cruise kessies/BBs, infinite tracking on turrets, damps stacked to infinity and beyond - very different tactics to now  |

if i remember rightly m0o stopped playing as a corp when CA was defeated and b0b formed as an alliance and m0o as a corp entitey did not want to play the alliance game . they where gate ganking pirates in all there glory , old school style ,
cant say i was sad to see them disapear from the rader in the game but i beleave some of its original members went on to play with b0b corps instead of quiting , there was also the fiasco of lord zapp being sold to another player and him trying to reform m0o , that didnt last long , times had changed and null sec alliance had all discovered the wonder of voice comms and where to well organised for m0o s old play style ,
i dont lament m0o no longer being around they wrecked the game for many who where just trying to enjoy eve in relative peace and quiet .

In that time battleships were considered like today's titan or more.
I remember when Lord Zap got went in a rampage in his shiny Dominix, but eventually lost it after some organization got too many cruisers to fight it.
