I was playing EVE today when, during a level 4 security mission in Chaven (1.0) I saw a destroyer pop into the mission area. "DON'T SHOOT HIM" Screamed (sorry, typed) Ukko, a corp-mate of mine. As the destroyer flew towards a wreck to loot it, "He was annoying us yesterday, just don't shoot him" As I am quite new to EVE, I saw this destroyer and thought 'Ha, a cormorant? I can kill that in one!'. As I am not very good at EVE, I saw his destroyer blow up my apocalypse and thought "Oh."

It was amazing. Even though he had killed me in what seemed like less than a minute, my heart was beating and he was chasing down my scared corp-mates, as Ukko berated me in chat. However, I had decided that I was done. I quit the corp and right now i'm moving around Amarr Empire space selling all of my stuff. I'm going to move into Nullsec and get blown up many many times over because it is a heck of a lot more fun than treating EVE like a second job and just running missions over and over again. I'd recommend every new player try fighting other people instead of only NPCs, just give it a try inst
  Thanks Rin Nuriko

Find some friends who'll throw frigates at you all day. For any group with some decent income T1 frigates are the stuff you practically throw at enemies to make them stay still so you can murder them.

Very good point made here; but let me clear about one thing that bugs me about PvP nowadays - You don't need a 5bn ISK ship to be effective.
In fact; the more gankable your ship appears to be, the more fights you'll get
