Just wondering what this is about every time I try to log in:
"Could not connect to the specified address. Odds are that you have not established an internet connection, the server isn't running, or the server address or port number was wrong."

11-12 GMT time (london time) DT daily - DT = downtime = patch comes from tomorrow UK time from 0900 to 1500 (9am to 3pm GMT) which for us in aussie land going on Eastern Standard time is 7pm on wednesday night to 1am thursday morning) - lucky for us its sleeping time lol

It's 12:46pm here in England, and I can't connect either :(
I take it that DST is not included to the ingame time :)

No its 11:46 GMT.
You're in British Summer Time. Eve lives in GMT.

It won't be London time since the UK is on British Summer Time at the minute(BST). In BST, downtime is between 12pm-1pm BST and the patch will be deployed at 10am-4pm BST.

EDIT: Everything already said in the time it took to post... oh well. 
Except that EVE runs on GMT (always) and the UK/London currently does not (half the year GMT, half the BST).  The patch is 10am - 4pm UK time (9am - 3pm GMT) tomorrow.
Don't you just love daylight savings time. :)

I think it was nice they were monitoring performance issues in regards to the patches. When most patches of MMORPG come out, we have performance issues with super lag following. It takes up to five restarts and/or patches to get the system working as it was before the patch nerfed performance.
Good Job EVE-os.
