Interested to hear people opinions on how the coming patch will affect mineral prices.
I understand the only biggies are Level 4 missions are moving to <0.5 and agent rewards decreasing in higher security space which could see:
ò A increase in Ship losses from those nasty pirate types (wishing the pox on ya Parrot) preying on Agent runners ò Maybe a move back to mining in 0.5+ space from the agents runners not willing to risk <0.4 space, increasing mineral supply. ò A decrease in ship losses (from the point above)
What been the experience from last patches?

Do you realy think that agent runners are going to move to <0.4? And i suspect the rewards will be slightly nerfed, not cut down by 100% in high sec. Prices will continue to raise until they meet the balance of other ways of income.

No level 4 agents is moved. What is changed is the actual reward and bonus from agent is related to security level of the system the agent is in. Thats all. No changes of bounties of missions NPC's, etc...
Tech2 components wont drop from agents any longer. You will get reactions and materials in stead, this to help out the POS industry.
Result of changes will just move a very few mission runners to agents in lower part of space. Empire wars and ships destroyed due to this is together with ships lost due to missions is what keep mineral prices high.

Homos Lamerus type: eve-player usual occupation: agent-whoring place of habitat: close to lvl 4 qigh quality agent typical ship: Raven typical in-game race: caldari/amarr typical IQ: below average possibility of losing a Raven in 0.4-0.1: considering the IQ, it does exist. possibility of moving into <0.5: zero. Usual PvP experience: n00blar. Reason of not going to <0.5: afraid of , and losing the Raven.
The conclusion is, that getting killed in a 0.4-0.1 systems in a battleship with at least 2 sentries on your side is very slim, if you have some brains and arent suicidal. The changes wont bring another isk-sink.

Apart from dissing and flaming what part of this have to do with the initial post in this thread?
