Ok, seeing as people seem incapable of figuring out this scam for themselves, I will do it for them.

Firstly, the OP has admitted to a past of tomfoolery and scumduggery. They say that they want to atone, however, and that everything will be all right again. 12b up for grabs, and all you need to do is give 30m. (Sounds familiar... I wonder how many Nigerian Princes have left me billions only if I submit my bank details.)

That's a fair trade, right? 30m for 12b is a pretty good-going rate. I mean, it's not like the OP will take your money and run away with it, is it? No, of course you'll get the pod.

So, let's carry on with the scam. After all, somebody's definitely going to get that 12b. But it's such a good deal that no doubt lots of people will want the 30m 12b swap; already in this thread 120m has been handed over.

So what happens to the people that sent in 30m but don't get chosen? Because of course, somebody will get chosen (because the OP will definitely not want to keep the scam going on for as long as possible by keeping the bounty), but everybody can't get it. Already the OP has earned 90m out of gullible readers, and that's an absolute minimum.

If you don't get chosen (and that's pretty much a guarantee) then you've just lost 30m. You will NOT get it back. You will NOT get 12b.


If the OP really wants to prove me wrong, I'll see a lone pod appear in Jita labelled "12b". I somehow doubt it.

I can't prove that you have categorically scammed people, but I don't think I need to. You've admitted to crimes, and plenty of them, so already there's a good statistical chance that amongst your storied career there's a sneaky scam here and here. But that's a very poor argument.

The reason I don't need to know that you have specifically scammed is because you are already an EVE criminal, as it were. Your history of crimes makes you infinitely more suspect than somebody who hasn't done what you've done. Heck, you've got a 12b bounty for it! If I found a real-life criminal, who had, say, murdered several people, I'm much less likely to trust him with my wallet than somebody who's never been convicted of anything. Much less likely am I to trust somebody who's been formally declared an enemy of the people (bounty-equivalent).

And finally, as somebody else mentioned, if you're as short on ISK as you've admitted to in the OP, why aren't you claiming the bounty for yourself? All it would cost you is -ú10 (or 16$ or however much it is) to net yourself 12b.Which could in turn pay PLEXes for both your alt and main for twelve months.

That's why it's a scam, and that's why I don't trust it.

I don't have concrete evidence because I've not researched, and I'm not sad enough to do that to prove a point. I think there's a misunderstanding.

You're saying that I can't prove you guilty, therefore my argument is invalid. I'm saying that I don't need/want to prove you guilty, because I, personally, can be sceptical enough as to not want to give you money. What I'm trying to do is reveal why I think this, so that others might be able to see what I mean and perhaps revise their decision to send in money.

I treat anything where you get an easy, massive profit for a relatively small input as suspicious. It doesn't help when the person instigating what I would now call a "scam" has admitted to a past of crime.

As for being unable to run two clients, I am sure that if you truly wanted to you could. Minimum setting across the board, get both pilots close together separately before bringing them together for a quick podkill, which shouldn't take longer than a minute.
