So a great way to ensure that old residents will not become hostile towards FA is to shoot them first and make demands later?
What's wrong with that? PB folks were actively supporting FA's enemies, what's wrong with FA now shooting them?
Hows that go, YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW?

But it was wrong when we shoot the FA supporters down there the first time around, right?

quite simple: it was the other way round
neutral PB folks were shot by FA -> then they started supporting Shinra |

Enough.
Lets be hounest here, people have pretty much gone with the flow forever and a day down in pb.
Fa powerhouse, people kiss ass.
Shinra, same.....
Pb's never gona change, nobody big actualy wants the ******* hole, it just a fun distraction.
I love the place personaly, i welcome and support those that would stand and fight for them to make it there home.
We need the spirt of last summer back in pb/tpar.
All things bad took that away, pb will allways be the peoples home, it's time to reform that spirt again. ------------------------

What is it that's so bad about Period Basis? Is it that you have to go through Querious and Delve to get there? Does it have bad ores or NPCs? I also noticed there's only 2 stations in the region rather than 3. Why is that?

Has bistot and the rats you find around bistot.. so it the resources are there, but it's a long way down and the "pipe" is very piratable. The isolation is nice tho. Since most pirates are at the pipe, mining and rat hunting are fairly uneventful. That's how I remember it anyways.

The problem with period basis is that the community there is nice, and generates a lot of isk mining, and ratting.
As such holding the refining station there is a very profitable proposition for any corporation/alliance strong enough to hold it.
However it is also adjacent to several alliances, and pirates.
I think the greatest period of stability the region had was when BIG held the Tpar station. However, according to the many residents there, they did not provide protection to the residents, and merely reaped the profits.
As such there was a war, and since FA had invaders on their doorsteps, the region had been left to itself. Shinra took the station, and provided peace and security to the region, and I challenge anyone who can dispute this.
As such they earned teh respect and friendship of many corps that worked there. However, since Shinra have left along with their allies, a power vacuum has resulted.
A small group of industrial corps attempted to secure the tpar station, and make the region peaceful, this has been under the banner of TCD and BLABS. There is also another force under RUBRAs flag which is also attempting to bring peace (at least that is what I have been told by Rubra). However, Rubra, and the indusatrial corps have been unable as yet to meet an agreement on station running, and operations in the region.
So as such the region is still in dispute, and the fighting goes on. Nothing to see here .... move along. |

This wouldnt be a problem, if we could actually buy NPC style stations as we were promised back in beta test. Then noone would care about fighting over 1 station or 2 stations. ---------------------------------------------
