So is that "want to confirm" or is that "wont confirm", cause the meaning changes a lot based on the type in here. |

Well, good fight is always preferred, but when given the choice between structure shooting and hole control for 2-3 days or a quick nice ransom, I opt for the latter as that allows me to leave the siege and start looking for that good fight. In the case of what sparked this particular thread, we had a fight after which the residents of the hole were already broken to the point of no resistance left. |

But demanding ransom and getting it gives a nice feeling of being an evil space pirate :) ISK extorted from other players surely is more valuable than ISK gained from shooting sleepers?

Well obviously, though I guess there are still players around who play to fullfil their dreams rather than to fullfill other peoples nightmares in the game so the answer certainly doesn't apply to everyone. Personally I'd much rather forget the isk side entirely and just concentrate on everything that I find fun instead. The hunt, good fights and occasionally the tears when it happens to someone deserving. |
