OOC: Webpage updates now much later than forum post cause i pay isk for it to be updated, so depends on how much u donate!
-------------------------------------------------------
My Life started not long ago, I grew up on one of the smaller planets on the edge of minmatar space, I will not say the system. but it was in a small village. We had no school so I never learned to do anything except basic thing. The planet was often raided by amarrian forces and my parents where forced into slave labor. I hid myself from them...
The next day, I decided it was time to leave, at age of 14, and stowed away in a small transport ship going to a station in rens. Once there I quickly found out, with no iskies and no ship, I was stuck, so I began begging for isk. I pleaded for them to fill my empty tin, many turned away in disgust but a few showed me kindness and opned their hearts and wallets to me.
later that day I had enough to buy training to fly ships and buy a ship. So I purchased a used vessels, and departed on my way. I purchased a small mining ship, and transport vessel. so i began mining. at a nearby belt. after a hour or so I went back to station got into my transport to move the ores back to station, when i warped to the wrong asteroid belt...
I saw a Fleet of mining ships, and many jetisoned cargo containers.. so I warped back to my asteroid belt to take my ores and once back in the station, In the local channel i asked if they could help me to donate me iskies , they where rude to me..my decsision was clear.
I undocked and set course for their jettisoned containers, I took all their ores.. and from then on, I have never minned for myself again. And since I now have a child to care for, I scavenge all the ores and loot i can find. to feed my child. This is all I am good at. ocaisonally I'll take breaks to beg, when I am tired and I am taking care of my child.
If any of you would like to help me, I need isk for mastodon transport & to feed my child and other thing. please help ! your support will remain anonymous.
Here is some picture of recent ore scavenging persons i scavenged from.

You do realize that by taking your child out on ore theiving missions with you, you are endangering its life?

Heh I don't consider ore-thieving "wrong" either :p. If they don't want it stolen they'll use secure containers.

In my days of ore thieving, the best I ever got was people locking me and launching their drones.

That was a priceless exchange with Mr. Reformed Pirate.
I don't want to be one, but I am starting to grudgingly admire some of the ore theives. They don't really cheat any more than over half the game participants quite frankly.

Golden Ratio says Roleplay 4tw!
This was very fun to read indeed. I love a good roleplayer because they give reason to play their style.
Now we will wait when so many of those pie-rat companies (names starting with B,A,S ...) gives us RP reason for their actions rather than boosting their Counter-Strike: FPS ratio (Frags Per Second you know) _______________________________________________ My opinions aren't my corporations opinions.

Roleplay would solve 92% of all the issues people have with this game. If people would realize that it is not "their stuff", but their character's stuff, and that they are not being offended, their character is being offended... EVE would be a much better place. People keep flaming and arguing because they take everything personal. Someone ganks you, you grow mad because you pay for this game and you hate being killed. Whoa! Hold it there, this is a game, we're supposed to have fun here, not get mad for nothing.
See, no one wants to die. In a game like this, some people have to die though. So please, make the best out of it and don't let it become personal. Roleplay instead and let your character be mad at the character that killed him, leave the other player and yourself out of it!

In the spirit of RP if you don't want your Ore thieved then run with locked Con's. I normally run 6 - 8 in a roid belt. Keeps the Thieves away. :)
Like another poster stated...it's a game and it takes all elements to make it intersting including the darker side iof thieves and cut throats. :)
Nice read OP :)

I donÆt mind Ore thieves manly because you can prevent it if you take the time to use secure cans. And in fact this post was brilliant. No what ticks me off is people taking mission can drops. Nothing you can do about that. Of course you can choose to do missions in low sec space in which case if someone tries to take the drops you have recourse. So I donÆt know maybe itÆs all balance in the end.

I agree, if you steal from noobs just getting to know the game then i think thats just plain sad cause your actions may cause them to quit and miss out on a quality game. But from people in cruisers upwards and general griefers, then i just laugh and think what awonderful job the thief has done, cause its not going to kill their income like it would a noob.
When i was in a Moa about 10 months ago on my first character, i was the victim of an ore thief, an entire can, poof, stolen. I was mad, but then took steps to make sure it never happened again (move to quiet system, setup secure cans, set pilot to -10 personal standing and added him to buddies so i saw him enter a system) ive never been theived from since.
Quality post by the thief in this case, and the chats in local in the pics are just ace
