IGÇÖm experiencing driver crashes while playing EVE with the graphics card listed above. It usually occurs a few minutes after loading captainGÇÖs quarters or while running multiple clients. The error also occurs when using the stress test tool GÇ£MSI KombusterGÇ¥. The screen shuts down for like two seconds and restarts afterwards. I'm getting an error message saying that the nvidea driver was reloaded because of an error.
Does anyone have the same problem? IGÇÖm wondering if my card is broken or if itGÇÖs a general issue or if maybe another hardware part causes the problem. |

This behavior (driver reset) can happen when the card overheats for some reason, which judging by the symptoms you describe is very likely to be the issue. As such, please check the temperature of the card when the driver reset happens (there are several free tools available that can monitor the cards temperature sensor) and make sure that the cooler works and is attached properly, along with ensuring proper airflow within the computer case itself.
You can also try to reduce some load on the card by activating VSync (select "Interval one" for the "Present Interval" option in the "Display & Graphics" tab). GM Karidor | Senior Game Master |

Was having the same issue even after a replacement card, but then after missing with the settings, i did as the GM said and that has stopped the crashes that i was getting. has been working fine until i get to running 4 clients at max settings |

The driver reset happens when the graphics card reaches 66 degree Celsius. It takes a few minutes to reach that temperature with one captainGÇÖs quarter. The fan speed is at 38% at that temperature. The GÇ£Present IntervalGÇ¥ was already set to GÇ£Interval OneGÇ¥ (I donGÇÖt recall having ever changed that setting). |

Setup a custom fan profile, i have mine set so by 55c the fan runs 100% but at 50c 62% GPU fans are cheaper then GPUs. But way your driver is crashing at 66c is very very odd, could be that your memory controllers are over heating not the GPU per say. Try under clocking in what ever OC tool your using as its EVGA - http://www.evga.com/precision/ , dont back it down alot 1-5% will work for a 1st run.
Also do you have any really GPU crushing games like BF3 or metro2033? If so are they stable?
A GPU biso update might be needed too check EVGA forums for info http://www.evga.com/forums/tt.aspx?forumid=80 This guy sound like in the same boat if its not you http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.aspx?m=1784849 |
