Bookmarking different asteroids in different belts. Bookmarking the "eye candies" there. Bookmarking a insta-warp location..Theres alot of reasons. Limiting 1 bookmarking per system is really lame.

its a really poor bug that ccp coded in. lol
basically they cant modify game balance for jack.
its another thing ccp screwed up

It's always been like this..
Only change CCP made in the latest patch is the inability to have duplicate bookmarks.
Problem is that a system bookmark, and any coordinate type bookmark in a system, are all classified the same.
So it's really an easy fix.. CCP simply has to give back the ability to make duplicate bookmarks.

I'd have to agree that this is really annoying. Hours and hours and hours of belt scouting are now gone.
was there an actual problem with people having too many bookmarks, or did someone just decide to destroy my work for the fun of it?

this is just another example of changing something without having a clue what you are trying to achieve or the way to go about it.
we need more than one bookmark per system, it F**ks the agent missions if u only have one per system for the hunter missions. i play on the test server - as least i try to, but when one small change is made at a time, its hard to quantify whats been done, without a proper log system of exactly what chnages have been amde, and what 'should' be tested

The impression I was given, they did this to stop the 'Macro Miners'.
People that ran in Window'd mode with a macro script running that used the bookmarks to mine with smaller ships (ie, non Indy) while they were away.
Not sure how successful that would be or how to code it, but here you see the solution.

That doesn't make no sense..
If your AFK mining. You really don't need any bookmarks.. You just roll up to a roid, activate your lazer, and walk away.
No.. Mining Bookmarks are for people that mine non-stop, back and forth, load-up, pickup, drop-off..
Dream on.. This isn't some deliberate nerfing.
I just hope we don't have to wait three weeks for it to get fixed, is all.

Bookmarks are basically useless now. You cant mark belts in a a system and rotate through them patrolling for rats or speed mining. This is another change that should have been more thought out. while some fix a inequity this one does nothing but **** off regular players

If you're AFK mining in the way Johnson McCray (whatever the name) suggests (i.e. with a fighter/cruiser) and not indy... then u can't just roll up to a roid and leave it for a couple of hours - otherwise u'd get about 300 units of ore and not 20k units! (which is what Mr nStuff was suggesting u do in an industrial ship!)

Fix this bookmark situation - its friggin insane. I lost over a hundred bookmarks and now can't even use the bookmarking system at all - nothing, nahda. People who don't know why you would need anything beyond one bookmark per system obviously don't do much exploring..

Smokem, please give me a brief run down on how you conduct your exploring. I can't begin to fathom what you would need hundreds of bookmarks for it as I have yet to find a singe, interesting thing while checking out the universe.
What I have noticed that is in Syndicate Space and in the Essence region there is absolutely nothing worth seeing. I think the devs haven't put anything there yet. I went over to caladari space though and found all kinds of crap.
Either way, yes I do think the bookmarks need to be back to the way they were yet I don't see the point in having so many bookmarks. How do you use them to your advantage?

You think Caldari space is nice, try Amarr space.
I've seen flotsam at gates in one Caldari system.
I went through Amarr .4 space and saw flotsam and better spawn containers at gate after gate.
God only knows what was hiding at the planets in those systems.
Meanwhile, Gallente space has NOTHING.

I can't even access my bookmarks since the last patch.
