I went pirate hunting with a couple corpmates using, amongst other weapons, missiles. Now as my mate destroys the pirate b4 my missile hits it, that nasty little thing keeps flying and flying until it hits my bud. No big deal, no big damage ... but I drop in security. This MUST stop, it sucks bad. I know that wonŠt happen in a gang but come on ... in a larger corp, you have ppl come to belts AFTER you went there with a couple of guys .. and in the heat of battle, you can actually forget to invite the newcomers to the gang. Please change that anytime soon ... there should be NO sec drop when attacking a corpmate (who would do that on purpose anyway except for sparring?). ____________________________________

There should be no penalties for damaging a fellow member of a player corporation. Are you sure you are both not in your starting NPC corporation? -- Richard CCP Programmer. Anything said above is not the official line, but my own take or opinion. |

Thanks for responding but no ... weŠre both in the same corp (not the starter one) and I still dropped in security. ____________________________________

Lickspittle: (eeesh, I feel guilty addressing you like that ;P) Was this always the case? In beta my corpmate targetted me and hit me and cops swarmed him - this was before scramblers so he got to find out they chase you planet to planet till he jumped :)
OT: Umm I petitioned the cache container location (no pirates guard it and therefore always empty) it's still empty and no pirates post patch.
In addition the system it was in day after patch (ie 1 full sys restart later) didnt have ANY rats in it at all - even in a normally huge spawn ground of them.
Other rats in other systems I hang in have same respawn times so its not a slowdown...
And finally, were containers (spawn ones) changed in what they COULD drop - this is hearsay but someone indicated a 'good' container doesn't drop 'good' stuff anymore (I never found any 'good' container yet ;P)

Whilst using defenders the yesterday, out of the 16 fired agains incomming missiles 1 destroyed an incomming missile and the other 15 hit my 3 corp memebers that were with me.
Whilst talking about missiles atm Heavy FoF are a joke, in 3 hours at a rat base I had 1 heavy FoF launch and the target was at 3K the rest of the time I kept getting the message "No compatable target in range" even when I am trying to fire at a ship that is firing at me at 15K.
Please fix it because missiles are a joke at the moment.
