I run a peaceful corp that mines and builds and fights alittle. Everything has been going well and our hard work earned us the ability to build 3 kinds of top level cruiser.
Enter the patch
bye bye blueprints. Hmm who to talk to to get them back?.. *sad* Wonder if they will ever be back.
And the corp members that have saved and saved to build a cruiser and we are about to build one.. and then the bp poofs. Having to tell them sorry no cruiser today the bp is gone :*(
Blueprints are sacred CCP. This patch is not ok. They cost too much and it¦s not acceptable that they are lost in bugs. People work hard and save up for blueprints to be able to enjoy cheaper cruisers later due to that first big investment.
I know its hard to make a game.. but please double check everything that has to do with blueprints please?.. Or please send me a GM to explain to our younger members why we cant build that cruiser that they have been working and looking forward to for days.
It¦s just a game, but it is played by real people, with hopes and dreams, and feelings. And I can think of no better way to crush a young gamers spirit than to take away his blueprint.
this is what you¦ve done. Now you need to make it right again.
Please fix the bug, give back all lost blueprints, maybe send a small letter of apology or some kind of ingame "im-sorry" pastry. It¦s the small things that show us that you care that would help alot. Everyone can make mistakes, but if you go about it the right way, its np.. :)
Cause come on.. you¦re gamers too right? So use it.. go with that.. show us u care. :p

Might not be a solution but I found my "lost" BPs hidden in my 7th Division hanger which hasn't been used for anything, certainly not storing BPs; it might be worth having a look there when the servers come back up...

Yeah I kinda suspect that the cruiser bps appear again after 2 hours 50 minutes, or after another item has been produced/cancelled in that slot.
Either that, or some stealth GM is going around restoring BPs without an explenation.
We shouldnt have to bend over backwards to work around these bugs tho. If the investors want the game out early they should hire extra staff to fix lost items to bugs and to talk to the ppl that suffered from the bugs and make sure they feel happy with the way things went.
Cause right now they are making alot of money releasing a bad shape game and that money is taken straight from our hearts.
Money paid for game - (money spent on making the game work + markup) = money not spent on making the game work
= extra profit for investors
= the financial value of our suffering
And this is possible because of bag legislation in the field of MMORPGs.
Usually if you sell a product that is faulty, you are breaking an agreement. And that makes you obligated to finacially replace anything that the buyer loses because of it. This game is working around that with the EULA that we have all accepted.

I still love the game tho.. :) Im such a sucker. Aren¦t we all?

I am having the same issue. I am a CEO of a small startup corp and i was going to make a Bantam for a new member the blueprint poofed after I went through the wizard and did not show up in a factory slot. Now my Bantam BP is gone and i have to trek 30 or so jumps to get a new one right through a group of PC pirates. I am not a happy camper about that. I waited over a day and the BP is still not there.
Now one of my corp mates got blown up by a sentry gun when he engaged an NPC pirate at a jumpgate. There goes his 300k tristan. Also when i logged int today my sec status went from 0.0 last night when I logged off (i have never attacked anything but NPC pirates) to now 0.1 and I am -9 on my faction tabs to the corp that owns my HQ station. Whats going on here?

the sollution is to unrent and rerent the factory slot.

And team mining isn't crippled at all .. you just have to figure out a way to work with the 5 min jettison delay, it's really not that hard :)

I have a question about 'lost BP'. After the patch (1105) I thought I had lost most of my BP. What seems to have happened in my case is that the BP are still there but may be displayed ( via Icon ), as a BP, or as a single Item of the BP target. I have also seen moving a BP from hanger to hold changing the Icon from one to the other, and Icons with different back grounds ( not PB background ) for a item type.
I need confirmation that this is happening to others, as I have not done extensive testing as to the various reasons this happens. Thoughts on possible options; new icons for PB copies, my Icon cache is hosed ( I have not removed old cache directory ), something is really broken.

Triamax that happend with us 2. Strangely enough it only happend in 1 station though, all our BPs in other stations were unaffected

I dont think I have 1 bp now that actually IS a BLUEprint... it shows random items in the icons.
It's annoying as hell and I've also tried to put a bp into the drone bay because it looked like a drone itself heh
