Hello,
I have downloaded the file to patch eve since auto patch failed over and over again. However when I try to patch manually it, it returns the following:

It does the same thing to all 3 of my eve clients, on different HDs, all installed at different times...so I figure it has to be a problem with the patch???
Any help would be appriciated.

and what version is your installed version ? I'd guess its not 3211 ...
If it is, download the full 3363 disk, backup your cache folders from your eve clients and reinstall

It is 3211 according to it when I open the client. ... And I have been playing eve with these clients as of right before DT.

I downloaded:
http://patch.eve-online.com/evepatch934-3363.exe
And installed the Eve CD, then tried to patch and got the same exact error!!!
What gives???

i have a different prob i couldnt patch it at first so i uninstalled eve then downloaded the full client of exodus it works but now whrn i am outside of a station all i see is white for the normal space background!!!!! is it hardware or what? someone please help!!!

numbersix, did you remove the old EVE folder before you installed the full CD or did you backup your cache folder first ?
If so I'd delete anything in the cache folder apart from the browser and settings folder and the prefs.ini file
If that doesn't help , do you have an SIS graphics card/chipset ?

patch but nothing changed, which folder do i need to download it to? and how do i patch manualy?
do you think i should just uninstal eve and reinstal it using the cd, if so how do i "back up" my cache folder?
Its at times like this i realy wish i knew somthing about computers..

I set up a patch mirror for people to download from if the eve-o servers get busy enough.
http://www.secondborn.co.uk/eve/
It won't be uber fast, but the file's there if you want it.

Download the full CD Installation of the new patch version.
Uninstall your old eve completely.
Install the new CD, and set your options back up.

I've encountered exactly the same problem.
Made worse by the fact that the cd I had the client on went missing, and on a 56k, a full client download isn't an option. |

Okay, I think we need to download one of the stuff files to bypass the problem (thanks to help from someone on EVE-i).
From the posts above it looks like 'Destiny' is the culprit.
Just as well its only 180k
