The game looks so terrific next to others.
I grew up on real art, especially living practically across the street from the Rothko Chapel in Houston.

To carve a successful niche for yourself in EVE you need to be able to out sell, out produce, out fight,-á out run, or out wit your competitors.
If you can do none of the above, your only option is to complain on the forums that somehow you are at a disadvantage using the exact same tool set-áas the rest of the player base. |

You can bellyache about the physics, game mechanics and balance and have some good reasons for doing so. But one thing CCP has done well and with some thought to originality is the art and graphics.

When I point this out to people primarily playing other games, they always reply that it's because space is mostly empty and CCP is taking shortcuts and blah blah... But they can't deny it looks really friggin' good, no matter what's going on behind the scenes.

Yes.
My favorite art is the nebulae. They make long freighter runs around highsec much more enjoyable. |

How about kuddos to the art department for smack nobody ever talks about, the NPC assets in game. Do you know how many unique variants of NPC ship there are? I sure don't. It's amazing that they can keep up with all of that. It must be like a sweat shop over there in Iceland!
